The house is exactly as described, and the location and setting are truly idyllic. The beach access is wonderful. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and our time here.For experienced travelers, it’s worth noting that the cottage and its amenities are fairly basic, and some aspects of the home could benefit from updating. That said, it was comfortable for our stay, and the beautiful location and incredible beach views are definitely the highlights. Overall, we enjoyed our visit!

Lovely stay

Wonderful cottage just steps away from the beach! We enjoyed all the amenities and the owner's fantastic communication. The house is also located a short drive from amenities in Milton such as the Dogfish Head Brewery and icecream.

Lovely place. Wonderful to be by the beach. The home was everything we wanted, though make sure to bring your own sheets and towels.

Amazing beach house!

We had an amazing time and the house was perfect for our needs. Broadkill Beach is so peaceful and lots of fun for little kids since the waves are small. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great place, relaxed and right on the beach

This was a great place for my family to stay for our nearly week-long vacation at the beach. It was a perfecto place with clean and comfortable rooms, easy to use everything, quick internet, privacy from neighbors, great bird & wildlife watching (who knew there were rabbits on the beach), and an easy walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was great too with hot water available.

Beautiful Getaway

This was the perfect (and safe) little get away for our family. The house was sweet as can be and felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean and well cared for and it made for the perfect week at the beach!

Fantastic beach location

Really lovely beach house with great views of the water and direct access to the beach through the dunes. Our kids loved the wildlife that’s right there, from foxes to horseshoe crabs. Clean and comfortable.

You'll sometimes see a deer and rabbits in addition to the foxes and horseshoe crabs. Don't forget the beautiful birds: herons, red knots, ospreys. Great location, right on the beach. Spacious deck with beautiful sunrise views over the water. The owner was gracious and accommodated our last minute reservation.
