Welcome to Pauley Lake House- Lake Anna Vacation Rental!
Experience lakefront living on the private side of Lake Anna in our beautiful home with 200+ ft of lake frontage. Great lake views from almost every room. Large deck/screen-porch off the back of the house, private dock with sunny/shaded areas and swim platform with ladder.
There's 8+ ft water depth off the lake-side of the dock and 1-6 ft depth between the dock and shore defining a nice swimming area. Great fishing off the dock...bass, blue gill, carp, catfish!
Pedalboat, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and canoe available for guest use.
Stone firepit/terrace to extend the outside fun into the evening.

Community amenities: swimming pool, tennis courts, boat launch
Inside activities: full-size air hockey, foosball, movies, board games.

* Bed Linens provided, will be folded/stacked on each bed upon arrival (guests responsible for bath linens and consumable supplies)

relaxing reunion

A traditional summer reunion for our adult children, my husband, and I on Lake Anna. Of the many places we have stayed on Lake Anna, the Pauley House fit our family the best. From the inside, out, and the location on the lake!

Pauley House Review

We had a great time! The house was spotless and perfect for our family. We loved the lake and the view was amazing. The Pauleys were very thoughtful hosts and it was easy to get in touch with questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful location with great amenities

We loved the house! The location on the lake was quiet and the water was warm. The kayak and paddle board were a hit! The house has the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen along with the amazing game room down stairs- everyone enjoyed themselves!!

First time at Lake Anna. Great vacation home with plenty of space and the boat house/docks was great for relaxing. Paddle board, kayaks and peddle boat were use constantly. Would definitely rent again.

Making memories

Gorgeous property and dock area is the highlight. The ability to play in and about the water from the property and the large spacious dock with the lounge chairs was my favorite part. The hoop out front was a great additional activity for the 19 year old to play with the 10 year old. The 19 year old loved the basement set-up. Well stocked kitchen. Very responsive owners. Thank you.

Lovely lake vacation

Wonderful time at a beautiful and very clean house! We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the Lake! As was stated, it is in the warm side and we would not stay in the same location again (at least in July or august) because of that - the water was not at all refreshing for August.. the only reason we give 4 vs 5 stars is because of the “hot” water and though a minor inconvenience, we had to bring our own bath, kitchen and beach towels. Chad and Kristin were super to work with - very responsive and keep their home in tip top condition!

Beautiful vacation home

Three generations stayed in this home for our annual family reunion and our first time at Lake Anna. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated and has a great, quiet waterfront location. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the tools you will need to prepare meals. We spent the majority of our week on the dock and in the water. In case you are wondering about the "warm side" --- this is it. Truly warm enough to jump right in. I enjoyed this as my kids were wanting to spend all day in the water. The fire pit was great as well! Chad and Kristin were responsive to my questions before booking, a question that came up during our stay and they sent our deposit back very quickly after our stay. I truly hope we end up at Lake Anna again and if we do we will definitely book The Pauley House again.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

We just returned from a great vacation at the Pauley Lake House. The pictures are great but experiencing the property in person was much better. Chad was great in his communication and he even accepted a final post vacation task of FedEx'ng a forgotten iPad =) We used all of the water toys and launched our Boat from the Community boat ramp which was perfect. Lot's of Bass and Catfish caught from the dock and the swimming/floating was exceptional. This was out 1st trip back to Lake Anna in 25 years and the property and private side did not disappoint. We spent the majority of our time on the dock but I should also mention the house was very clean and very functional for our Family of Teens, Parents, and Grandparents. We hope to return again next year!

Best Family Vacation

We had a great vacation on Lake Anna. The house was better than advertised! Location was spot on with a substantial dock and convenient beach. All the “toys” to have fun in the water and a kitchen equipped for any meal. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would rent again without hesitation!

Great Home on the Lake

We loved our stay and was great for our family of 8. Lots of bedrooms, great kitchen with everything you need. The lake was great with beautiful views and access to the dock. We had a great time fishing especially the catfish. The air hockey table and fooseball tables were used a ton and having smart TVs were great for the little bit of rain and nightly entertainment. The basketball hoop was great for 2 vs. 2 games and we used the boat launch which is very close to the house. The Pauley House is awesome! We look for to staying again. The Fowlers’

3 times a;ways a charm!!

This was the third year we have rented from the Pauleys. My wife is very particular on the cleanliness and furnishings of any place we rent and this is by far the nicest and best kept place we have rented-- so we always kept coming back. Chad and Kristin are a joy to work with and have thought of everything to make the week enjoyable and trouble free. We would be coming back again in 2015, but we are in the process of selling our house and moving to the Lake Anna area ourselves.

For a great vacation!

Three generations of my family were pleased to stay at the Pauley House for a week in July 2011 and we would heartily recommend it for others looking for a well kept, large getaway for a family. The home is attractive and well furnished with room for many to relax, sleep and enjoy the lake. Importantly, there are lots of things there to enjoy and its all well organized. In summary, they delivered what they promised.

Beautiful

Our vacation was fantastic! The house is new, beautiful and in first class condition. The dock was perfect for fishing, reading and we really enjoyed exploring in the paddle boat. The lake was so peaceful... The screened in porch was good place for afternoon naps :). The kids loved the air hockey and having their own room to watch movies (which has a door to keep the sound from disturbing the upstairs). We will be back...
