The property was charming amd full of character. We were there to stay for a bachelorette party. The house was a 15 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck, which was great. The house was full of everything you would need. The outdoor area was great for outdoor eating and general hanging out.
We were attending a wedding and reception at Ivy House and didn’t want to drive back to GR afterwards. This was very conveniently located, just 2 mins from the venue. There was plenty of room for 4 couples, and the host was able to get us in early so we could fr and change. Great visit and would stay again, thanks!
This place was exactly what we needed for our short stay. The history of the house was great to read about. Everything was what we expected from the details. The owner was very prompt with information and answered any questions we had. Property was beautiful and everyone in the family loved the stay. Definitely would recommend and will hopefully return again one day for a longer visit.
We were shocked at how nice this house was. Large bedrooms with antiques and tons of art. A second kitchen/5th bedroom & 3 sitting rooms! Sadly, the outside no longer looks like the photis. Very overgrown. Neighborhood perfect and even had a family of deer come say hi. Weren't planning on returning.
Although we only spent one night at Elizabeth house our stay was perfect! This home is very large with all the nooks and crannies that I personally love plus comfortable beds, oodles of books to read, tons of cool artwork and other things to look at but I wouldn’t recommend staying here with little ones who don’t yet have the control or ability to keep their hands to themselves! Check in was effortless and we were greeted with a lovely fire going in the fireplace! Would definitely stay again!
We really used the house well as we gathered for a wedding - loved the historic houseThe fireplace was lovely and the whole living room/kitchen/dining room was a good place to gather, make food and visit
The Elizabeth house was cozy and charming! Lots of bedroom space for plenty of guests and had all the furnishings we needed. The host was informative, helpful and easy to get a hold of if needed. Thank you for a great stay! Multiple people in our party said they would book again!

Over all it is a great rental very nice place with a great storyline about when and how the home was built. Would highly recommend the house. We had a family wedding in the area and our entire family was able to stay in one place.
The location was great and the size of the house was accommodating for the 7 of us. The sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Great firepit.
Lovely. Like going back in time. The home was very large and quite grand. We really enjoyed our stay. There’s a barbecue pit and volleyball court plus there’s bikes for everyone!
A group of friends and I reserved The Elizabeth House for an all-girls holiday "board" party. It was such a cozy location and all 8 of us kept commenting how we want to come back in the summer. It's an amazing location. The house is huge! Majority of our time qas spent in the living/dining area which was a little cramped for a large party but as long as yiur group all likes eachother it makes for a better time ;) Service is a little spotty and we had some issues with the wifi (could have been user error) but it didn't hinder our stay. The only thing that could have made the stay better is a bluetooth speaker - we forgot ours! And, if there was one we couldn't find it. PS the beds are SO comfy!
We were impressed with this historic home, and appreciated the large outdoor space to enjoy games and relaxation with tables and chairs aplenty. Celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary with the 8 people who stayed at the property and 8 others who joined in for a few evening hours.

We used the house for a getaway night with 3 other couples. It was perfect!
Group of friends stayed here when we all were in town for a wedding. Place was clean and the host communicated well. There was a nice fire started when we arrived. It's a nice cozy house to stay in, has a lot of character.
We stayed here one night for the Douglas Halloween Parade and we absolutely loved the house! It is a unique and cozy place that is well kept and has so many cool little nooks and small living areas throughout. The check-in process was extremely easy. Would definitely consider staying here again!
