2 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage with large covered front porch with fans and seating. Large elevated rear deck with covered swing. Washer/dryer on main level. Small basement. Wooded yard. Side patio with flagstones and firepit.
Bedrooms - 1 queen size bed and 1 king size bed. Sofa will make a bed as well.
55 acre lake with Linville River within the resort. Hiking trail along river and around the lake. Trout fishing. 18 hole golf course. Heated pool in season. Exercise room; dog park; tennis and pickleball. Billiards. Dances and game nights at clubhouse. Elevation at 3800. Cool temperatures in the summer. Near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail and Grandfather Mountain. Approximately 18 miles south of Boone, NC and Appalachian State University.

What a cozy cottage! A perfect location, spotless, quaint and everything we needed to cook. We were minutes away from Sugar Mountain (went snowtubing!) the caverns, and Linville falls where we went hiking. The fire pit was a perfect ending to the cold days.

Love the peace, the coziness and amenities of this cottage in Linville Land Harbor. Quirky roads all tangled here and there and the very individual cottages make it even better. A nice morning with coffee on the porch swing is my favorite part of the stay.

Ski Trip

This place was amazing! My friends and I went snowboarding at Sugar Mountain and it was a 20 min drive from the mountain. We were able to cook every meal and had everything we needed.

House was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated. Kitchen contained everything needed for cooking. Host was very friendly. The pool and beach were nice, weather permitting. There were charges of 20 /day for fishing. Fishing was poor, not stocked in some time. There was a fee to use the dog park. A permit was needed (and unavailable)to leave a boat by the lake. The stream was more than a mile from the house, as were all facilities. Mountain Weather was very rainy daily, afternoon thunderstorms were common.The area including surrounding towns is densely populated.
