This is indeed a charming cottage. The inside was very clean. It is well appointed and quite comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the creek and the fire pit was a bonus.
Delightful little spot, very comfortable/clean, and perfect for our needs to attend an event in Spruce Pine. The rocking chairs under the little gazebo where you can listen to the creek were an especially nice treat for some R&R.
Always a joy to stay at the cottage! A true home-away-from-home for us. We love the mountains and this cottage makes it more meaningful for us. We have family in these mountains and we feel closer to them and those who have gone on to heaven. Nestled in the valley, this cottage is a true comfort and away from the hustle and bustle of town life. The drive to the cottage is very relaxing and beautiful. The host is awesome and ready to help when needed. We can't express enough how much we love staying here! It beats staying at a motel any day.We will be coming back!
Exceptional place to be and very clean. Our 1st time on that side of the mountains and it is really central to many locations in both NC and TN. We will be back.Colorado and Sarah
Very clean house. Beds were very comfortable. Great communication with host and it's everything they say it is. I really enjoyed my weekend here and will definitely book this place again. If you want a quiet weekend sitting by the creek and taking in the sounds of nature this is the place for you. Definitely what I needed to relax and unwind from a busy life
It was the oerfect place. W we teally enjoyed it. When we got ready to leave my said "I'm acually gonna miss this house". We travel fir work a lot, so forher to say that, it means a lot. We loved the gazebo with the rocking chairs by the streem. Kitchen had everything we needed plus extra. The owners were easy to get a long with, and went out of there way to help. I would definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area again.
Had a great weekend stay, house is an easy drive , cozy little 2 bedroom house. The house was very clean and well maintained . It rained most of the time so we couldn’t not enjoy the fire pit or the gazebo out front . Would definitely stay here again !!
The host was responsive and helpful. The location was remote enough to feel like and escape, but close enough to food, groceries, and entertainment for a wonderful weekend. Thanks for the wonderful time!
We enjoyed our time here. Everything was neat and clean and the host was easy to communicate with. We would recommend this place and hope to be back in the future.
Absolutely loved our stay at yellow mountain cottage! Check-in was super easy, the house itself had just about everything you could need in terms of toiletries, linens, towels, and spices/cooking tools, which was really nice to not have to worry about. It was very clean and upkept, and such a cozy little home. We had so much fun in the creek, the scenery was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!
