What's better than beachfront? Our place! We are directly across the street from the beach, so you get the convenience of beachfront without the beachfront prices. You are a shorter walk to the beach from our condo than you would be in the big resorts with 'beachfront' prices.

Come relax and feel the sand between your toes in beautiful South Padre Island. This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Even better, is our location. We are directly across the street from the beach, and there is a beach access just steps from the condo. It's like being beachfront without the prices! There are no hotels around us, so the beach is not as crowded and the neighborhood is quiet.

Stream your favorite apps, ZOOM, eLearn, etc. with high-speed WIFI internet. Our condos are pet friendly and kid friendly. They are also great for a romantic getaway. Are you setting up a girls' weekend or reunion? You can rent out an entire floor or the whole building and have a private vacation!

New upgrades: Keurig coffee maker, Berlin Gardens outdoor pool furniture, 6 beach chairs, 1 Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, 6 beach towels and a beach wagon. Custom outdoor pool table and outdoor TV in the pool area.

We are thrilled that you are looking at spending some time with us at Athena Ares Condominiums. Our beach home is a pet friendly, family vacation rental. We give 10% discount to Military, Police, and Firemen. The traveler securing the reservation must be 25 years of age or older. For Spring Break / Semana Santa all rental guests must comply with a families only restriction. If the dates that you are looking for are not available in this condo, we have 5 more fantastic condos in the same great complex that might work for your dates. We would appreciate the opportunity to accommodate your stay on the island.

The whole property was wonderful.From the furnishings inside the condo (beds, couch, outdoor seating) and the chairs around the pool were very comfy and were not worn in/out at all.We had one minor issue with the TV outside (oh the horror.....kidding of course) and it was resolved within an hour.The pool, beach items/equipment were all top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be looking at booking again in the future with other family members it was that nice. Thanks for everything!!!
Pool area - we were spoiled and had it all to ourselves!
Be sure to wake up early one day and take the short walk across the street to see a beautiful sunrise.

This was our second year staying at Athena Ares. Everything was exactly as last year, so we were very happy about that. The property is very clean and well maintained. Management was quick to respond when contacted. We spent lots of time by the pool. There is a new gas grill, which we used frequently. There are several beach accesses right across the street. This condo is in a quiet location. We enjoyed some new dining options on the island. We also found some new local musicians to enjoy! We definitely plan to visit South Padre Island in the future!

The condo was great very spacious and the pool area was awesome. Really close to the beach access and a short walk to wanna wanna which is a plus for us and dedicated parking is a big plus in my book.

Family holiday

We rented 4 units for ourselves and the families of our three daughters. The condos were well equipped and very convenient to the beach. The pool and patio area were great for getting everyone together for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Why they chose this property

The location is great! We can easily head back to the condo for lunch or just to grab more digging stuff. Then it's just a 1-2 minute walk back across the street and we are there, in the water! We also love walking down to the Wanna Wanna Inn for fried shrimp, cold beer, and good music. When our family comes to visit, we stay in all of the condos and spread out. We get to enjoy being close together without listening to each other snore!
