The property was very nice. We didn’t spend to much time there. But it was definitely nice to come back to after a long day and take a shower in the huge shower. Fishing from the dock and using the provided kayaks was also a nice touch. Would definitely like to stay again.

We loved this property. Waking up and going to bed to the gorgeous lake was perfect. A bit further from Houghton than we thought, but we made it work! Grateful for all of the amenities.

This was our favorite rental we've stayed in! The lake was amazing! Everything we needed was in the house, and then some! The water is so nice you can actually see the bottom out passed the end of the dock! We definitely will come back next time we go to the up!

My family loved the house and our stay. So much to do. We rented a pontoon one day and were in and around the property then. We drove out to Mt Bohemia for the Nordic Spa, went to Copper and Eagle Harbor towns, and did the Brockway Mtn drive which was awesome. The sunsets from the dock were amazing. I highly recommend renting a pontoon from Houghton at least one day as the whole area is so pretty with so much waterfront. Caught a few LM bass from the dock but no luck this trip with walleye or pike.

This lovely, comfortable home, situated on Torch Lake, provides the perfect spot from which to explore the Keweenaw peninsula. For our family, this house truly became a "home away from home." Quiet, very restful and quite private. Furnishings, including beds, were comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed to cook and serve meals. Walk-in shower with both fixed and handheld shower heads. Plenty of towels, including beach towels. Other amenities we really appreciated: washer/dryer; air conditioning and box fans; large, furnished deck; dock from which to watch the sunsets, read or even fish (fishing poles provided and even found bait in the refrigerator); and kayaks. Plenty of other amenities, though we didn't take advantage of all. Host and hostess next door, ready to help as needed but in no way intrusive. So happy I decided to make this our home for our 6-day get-away.

The property was perfect for myself Needing a power wheelchair accessible. The property was accurately described and the hosts were very prompt in answering all my questions. The kitchen was fully stocked with any amenities you might need including both a kehrig and regular coffee maker. Everything was very Clean, updated, and comfortable. Be aware, there aren't grab bars in the bathroom when considering this for disabled. I was easily able to access all areas inside, the beautiful deck, and even the dock. One of our group caught a few fish off the dock! The sunsets over the lake are simply amazing way to end the day. We are already talking about when our next stay will be!

Perfect quiet getaway

We loved this place! On a quiet road and beautiful lake. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and fishing off the dock in the evening. The perfect place to just escape for a few days.
