We stayed in the upper peninsula for five nights in this very well equipped cottage. It was unbeatable for the price and served nicely as a base of exploration. It’s about a 12 mile driving into Houghton and we were a little surprised at the remoteness of the property. But if you are looking for a scenic, peaceful experience, this is it.
Nice little cottage, cozy and comfy. Love that it's dog friendly and fenced in. Kim is very friendly, love the fresh eggs from her chickens. Kim thought of everything one might need but forgot to pack. We didn't use the sauna, but that looked nice as well. A wonderful experience!
So appreciated Kim’s quiet and comfortable home, and her thoughtfulness in little things to make our stay more comfortable! We’d stay again if ever in the area!
We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s cottage. She was quick to respond to my questions and the cottage was perfect for our getaway. The cottage is located near a lot of attractions and easily accommodated our small dogs.
The cottage is very cozy and has everything you will need. It is especially nice for people with dogs. There’s a fenced in backyard area that makes traveling with your loved four legged family members so much easier.

Great fenced in yard for our dog. Quiet neighborhood.Everything you needed was available.
Kim's home is very clean and cozy! We had a relaxing walk in her quiet neighborhood each day. Great location with a reasonable price to enjoy the Keewenaw. Our dog , Maggie, was very happy to be able to join the adventure and visit her "boy"!
Delightful place! Very welcoming and well stocked. Kim thought of everything. Fresh eggs were a real treat. Great yard for dogs and close to the lake. Would definitely stay again.
We felt right at home in Kim's cottage. Especially our pupper!
Everything was clean and well organized. It served as a great base for us to explore the Keweenaw peninsula.
