We had a great stay at the bicycle house. Check in was very easy and the host was easy to talk to and prompt with response to my questions. Close to downtown, it was perfect.
The apartment was great and in a good location. It was very clean and super cute. Had a parking spot right in front of the apartment and was walking distance to downtown.
The place was exactly as advertised, nice and clean, check-in couldn't have been easier, and the location was perfect for me. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and the internet was fast enough to work from with video calls. I'll definitely check if this place is available next time!
My husband and I wanted to visit Flagstaff and your NAU. This rental was a perfect location for walking to restaurants/bars in Downtown Flagstaff and to the campus. It was also a very short car ride to the Lowell Observatory up the road! The rental was clean and spacious, the perfect size for the two of us. Patrice was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this spot!
Nice apartment. Clean and functional. Walking distance to downtown and very close to the Lowel Observatory. The train runs nearby, but it wasn't too much of a nuisance.
Superb location. Quiet street. Parking is 10 feet from the door. First time in Flagstaff visiting the Grand Canyon and wasn’t sure what to expect, and this location served us very well. If you are looking for an easy, low key stay at a well stocked, convenient location, the stay here and you won’t be disappointed. Starbucks, Safeway, restaurants, breakfast cafes, gas stations - everything is a less than 5 min drive.
Everything was good. Manager was responsive with small needs that arose. The house seems to have irritants and allergens and smells musty. I had allergic reaction the entire time. It may help to vacuum all sofas and bed as well as walls.

Thank you for your review. We value open communication with our guests, and throughout your 13-night stay we were in regular contact. At no point prior to booking or during your stay did you mention any allergies. Most guests make us aware of sensitivities in advance so we can let them know if accommodations are possible, and we would have gladly done the same had we been informed. It is also worth noting that seasonal pollen in Flagstaff is often very strong and can be a factor for visitors.
We also want to clarify that our check-in time is 4pm, as stated in the listing. Arriving at 11am and insisting on early entry placed our cleaner in a very difficult position and made her uncomfortable, which unfortunately set the wrong tone from the start.
While we regret that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, we feel this review does not fully reflect the efforts we make to provide a positive experience for our guests.
I took my son to Flagstaff for a Spring Break - Father/Son getaway. The 'Bicycle Cottage" was perfect for our needs. This property was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located near downtown Flagstaff. We returned late one evening and were so happy our parking spot was only a few steps from our front door. In addition to having quiet surroundings, we also enjoyed a surprise visit from a very friendly neighborhood kitty one afternoon. Thank you, Patrice! We hope to stay here again the next time we're in "Flag."
Absolutely perfect location for my needs. Had what I needed.Bring brown coffee filters with you. I ran water through the white ones before adding coffee to try to remove the bleach. I should have just bought new one’s immediately. Pretty busy visiting my 98 yr old Mom with cancer in the senior home. Hopefully she’ll keep going and I’ll be able to return. Eat at Josephine’s first night next time. Bring my husband….. note to self.
Wonderful! So clean! Even the ceiling fans were spotless. Pots and pans were like new. Attention to detail is great. Walking distance to downtown. Comfortable property. We'll only stay here when in Flagstaff!
Such a lovely walkable location. I enjoyed many excursions and really enjoyed walking the neighborhoods around the cottage, including up to the observatory. I prepared all my meals in the well-equipped kitchen and slept well in the comfortable bed. Great soaking tub. I came to Flagstaff via shuttle, was dropped off at the Amtrack station, and it took 15 minutes to walk to the cottage. I'll be back!
The unit was exactly as described. 5 stars for cleanliness. Great location, lovely neighborhood and close to NAU and downtown. The bed was too firm for me but otherwise everything was very comfortable. Bring your own bar soap and kitchen hand soap if you don't want to use shower gel or dish soap. There were water bottles in the refrigerator which was great because the tap water didn't taste the best. Everything was in working order and it was great to have a designated parking space right in front of the unit. Would definitely recommend.
My daughter and I stayed at The Bicycle Cottage while she was looking at NAU. This is a great location, close to campus, safe, quiet neighborhood and easy to find. The place was adequately stocked with amenities and it was exactly as stated by the owner. When we return to Flgstaff, we will be sure to stay here again!
My daughter and I loved this property. The location was great and the property was well-maintained. The cottage itself was very clean, cozy, and we had everything we needed. Patrice was very nice and easy to reach. I would definitely stay here again!
