“RentMyFarmhouse” is a unique experience where you can rent the entire farm and have 160 acres, a lake, and almost 1 mile of Meramec River frontage all to yourself!

Nestled in the Ozark foothills just south of the quaint town of Steelville, Missouri (The floating capital of the world) where country values meet rustic charm, the farm is the perfect spot for a family vacation or just a nice couples retreat! Antique Shops, Music Theatres, and several Wineries are all within a short drive of the farm.

The Meramec River is one of the best smallmouth bass fishing rivers in the area (We appreciate if you practice catch and release). This is a great place to hang out floating in your inner-tube and lounging on the gravel bar. The farm is on the Upper Meramec and does not see the Commercial float traffic like downstream. Watch the sunset while grilling from the screened in porch overlooking the pristine cattle pasture and lake.

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful place to get away and enjoy nature and spend quality time with each other. Very clean, beautiful property, river access was awesome! Golf carts were made available for us to get to and from river. My 4 year old absolutely loved it, even without television or internet, which is saying a lot! Plenty of trails and places to explore! 10/10 we will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely magical! Wonderful place to escape! The farm house was very cozy and provided everything we needed for our stay. We loved spending our mornings and evenings in the big screened in porch watching wildlife and listening to the cows near by. The golf carts were great to haul us to and from the river. The land is beautiful! There are plenty of spaces to walk and explore if you’re not at the river which is by far the best part about the place. We spent whole days out paddling up and down stream and saw nothing but nature. It’s also very close to Steelville and all that area offers. We booked a float and visited Onondaga Cave State Park while we were there. Both highly recommended. We cannot wait to come back next year!
