Thanks for making the long trip. You all are always welcome back.
Gorgeous home with incredible views. Decor was very nice and the couches were higher end and very comfortable which is not the norm in a vrbo. Hot tub took the view to a different level! Can’t wait to stay here again!

This home is beautiful, spacious and well decorated. The covered porch area was very nice because there was rain on several days. Owners were very attentive.
Certainly hope to return. Highly recommend.

Thanks Ann! Loved having you. We will see if we can arrange some sunshine for your next visit. You were a terrific guest.
The views alone are worth the price!!! We could not have been happier with the location, the views (sorry, not sorry - can't say enough about that!), and the house itself.
Missy was great about communicating with us before and during our stay and ensuring that we were happy with everything.
I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hope to be able to visit again.

Kelli, thank you so much for tour kind words. Really enjoyed having you and working with you! Come back again!!
My husband, grandson and I were able to spend three days and two nights at the spectacular home. The View, quiet, comfort and wonderfully stocked house was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed at. Sitting on the porch crickets were the loudest noise heard. So beautiful and peaceful

Beautiful Home Beautiful View
Just a short 2 hour drive from Atlanta and you escape to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We enjoyed a long weekend here in May. Your home was comfortable, clean, well maintained and had a well equipped kitchen. We hiked and attended the Green Egg Festival in Hiawassee. We ended our days in the hot tub looking at the mountains watching the sunset, thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back.

Thanks Anne! You were a pleasure to host. When your other booking didn't work out, I was happy we connected. Thanks for being a conscientious and flexible renter. Look forward to your next visit.
I highly recommend this property and owner “Missy”. Missy is extremely accommodating and provides a tremendous amount of information regarding the area sites and activities. Stunning views of the mountains and lake from the house and the outside fire pit. Tremendous area for family activities, restaurants, but very peaceful. House was “extremely clean/sanitized”, I felt very comfortable from the moment of arrival. A must rent/stay - except when I want to stay 😄!

Beautiful Mountain Home with Gorgeous Views
Our family spent a week in this beautiful and comfortable mountain home. The owner was even kind enough to decorate the home for Christmas. This home is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, elegant, and has glorious mountain and lake views. The owner was was great and was always easily accesible for any questions. Lake Chatuge, located at the base of the mountain, is a must see! We will definitely be back! No complaints.

We enjoyed having you and your family! It was a pleasure partnering with you on the rental. We look forward to having you back!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house is spacious and well-equipped. We spent our days hiking some of the trails recommended in the house notes and also did some geocaching in the local town. We enjoyed ice cream and shopping at Tiger’s in Hayesville. Angelo’s pizza made for a great lunch one day and we also liked the used book store on the side of the library in town. We played the Pente game that was found at the home and shared great meals in the large kitchen. Thanks for all of the family fun!

Absolutely stunning home with an amazing view
My family, including 3 other relatives, stayed at this beautiful home in pure relaxation mode. The home was fully stocked, very clean, modern yet cabin like, and very well designed for space and comfort. The outside deck with hot tub allowed for nice morning and evening views of the mountains and a peek of lake Chatuge. The house is located close enough to stores, restaurants and extra curricular activities that make your stay convenient to necessary needs but far away from noise and distractions of everyday life. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We recommend Lighting the fire pit and gazing at the stars... Absolutely incredible night sky.

You guys were great to deal with. Thanks for renting from us.We hope you'll be back!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay at your lovely home. Missy was great to communicate with. We particularly loved the covered porch and views. A great place to relax early mornings and have dinner In the evenings. The ever changing Clouds over the mountains were Mesmerizing. The home was very well equipped and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Since COVID was an issue, we really enjoyed our meals on the porch. The master bedroom is downstairs for those that might have mobility issues.

Betty, thanks for renting from us. Yes. Master is down. Good news is there’s a bedroom and bath on main entry level as well as parking and access from the lower level to the master.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The view was incredible! Tons of information was provided about the area, and the instructions of what was expected of us as guests and how to use everything in the house was very well laid out. Missy was fantastic regarding questions and always got back to me quickly. She was a pleasure to work with. We have vacationed in Hayesville multiple times over the past few years, but we got to try a few new things this time based on information that was left about the area. (hiking trails, scenic views, and restaurants). This house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and we would love to stay at this property again! We wished our vacation was longer!

We were in the Hiawassee, Georgia area for a music festival at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. This property is about 15 minutes from the fairgrounds.
The views from the property are amazing; they look out onto the mountains and Lake Chatuge.
The house is will equipped and we didn't need anything. It was just perfect for us and another couple.
Missy is an amazing host. She was great communicating with us. Having originally having made the reservations pre-covid, she worked with us to move our reservations to 2021. We are looking forward to our next stay in 2022!

So glad you all finally were able to make it to Hiawassee. Appreciate you hanging in there on the reservation for almost 2 years! And glad the event took place this year. See you in 2022!
We meet up with two other couples to enjoy the fall leaves, for a relaxing two days. The view is spectacular! Each couple had their own bathroom which was nice. The house has everything you could possibly need, a well stocked kitchen, soaps, lotions etc. The beds were super comfortable. As others have mentioned, It is very dark at night, the road is very curvy with steep drops down so we stayed in and cooked dinner both nights. If you are cooking in, you will need to bring everything you need, spices, oils, butter, foil, plastic wrap, napkins etc. This is pretty common with rentals, we just did not think it through. Dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels, sponges were all provided. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the overlook!

Thank you for choosing our home for your stay. Happy that our winding road leads you to a little piece of heaven in the mountains. It makes the views worth it for the short drive up the hill. Glad we could accommodate your early arrival. We look forward to having you back!
Everything about this rental was great; location, furnishings, kitchen equipment, property manager, and the view! The road to this property is very steep so we opted to eat in every night to avoid needing to drive in the dark. If you plan to cook meals, bring your herbs, spices, salt, pepper, etc. with you - none are available for use. We would definitely rent this property again if we return to the area.

Why they chose this property
We have been vacationing in this part of the mountains since childhood. My parents eventually moved to the area.
We discover new and interesting things each time we visit!
A boat ride on the pristine lake surrounded by mountains, or a hike on the many trails close by provide great outdoor choices.
We fell in love with it when we saw it and are excited to share it!
What makes this property unique
The view got our attention from the beginning. The open and light interior of the home with windows across the entire wall made this property our number 1 choice. The first weekend we saw a woodchuck, seven deer and every bird imaginable fly by at eye level to our mountain perch.
