Featuring a gorgeous mahogany picture window overlooking Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. Your Home away from Home -- only better because it's on the Beach!

This 2 Bedroom (full bedrooms -- no lofts), 1.5 Bath ground-level end unit offers all the amenities of home including a full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator; large flat screen TV; stereo; high speed wireless internet, and full size washer & dryer. Sleeps up to 6 with a king size bed in the master suite, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa (with an air over coil mattress for ultimate comfort). Kitchen is equipped with all the amenities of home! Not just the bare essentials found in most rental properties.

This property offers quiet relaxation just steps from the walk out porch to the white sand beaches of Lake Michigan. Glen Arbor is a brisk walk or short drive and offers shopping, dining and entertainment. Nearby activities include Canoeing /Kayaking on the Crystal River, tennis, pickleball & basketball at the newly opened park in Glen Arbor; hiking on the trails of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, camping & hiking on North and South Manitou Islands, fishing, sailing, golfing, cycling and much more. Please note: BEACH CLUB MEMBERSHIP AMENITIES are NOT included in this rental.

Beautiful views, great location, and right on the water.

Just minutes from downtown Glen Arbor, a few steps from the back deck to the lakeshore, and a cozy lake home experience with all of the amenities.

Another great summer!

Our family had another amazing stay at Wilderness 15. We walked along the beach, swam in pristine Lake Michigan, played on the beach, biked to and hiked the Sleeping Bear Dunes, soaked in the sun, ate at some great restaurants and took in some beautiful sunsets. Our condo was just perfect for our family of 5. It has everything you could want.

The condo is in a perfect location in Glen Arbor! Nice access to the beach which is amazing for kids. The views are incredible. Condo was nice and clean and perfect for the week! We hope to come back soon!!!

We were very comfortable and the condo met all our needs. We loved being on the ground floor and walking down to the beach. The sunsets were breathtaking. The view from the property was stunning even with the smoke from the Canadian fires. The condos was very clean and had everything we needed. THe furniture was extremely comfortable. We loved being in the middle of nature

This condo is right on the water and the kids can walk off the balcony into the sand heading to the beach. It’s clean and the host of so gracious. She has everything you need to feel right at home away from home!

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful week staying at Wilderness 15 in Glen Arbor! The view was amazing and the beach was just steps away from the porch. We rented bikes and explored the town and the trails. Kayaking the Crystal River was really fun too! The condo is charming and comfortable for 4 adults. The owner is very kind and super helpful! Thank you so much!

Loved our week at The Wilderness Condo

The VIEW was spectacular. Any time spend in the condo we spent on the deck. Loved eating breakfast and sometimes lunch on this wonderful deck. Location - we love the Leelanau Peninsula and Lake Michigan and we had access to all of our favorite places from your condo. Would love to come back next year. Did not mean to give 1 star to property manager. Did not have contact.

Awesome family vacation on Lake Michigan!

I don’t think you can beat this location. There is so much to do in the area, and it is beautiful. Having the shores of Lake Michigan as our front porch and playground for the kids, and staring across the lake at the dunes and islands in the distance, are images I will always fondly recall. The pictures of the unit are accurate and so is this description. We had friends who stayed in a different area of the Homestead. Their unit was more updated on the inside, but our location was much better (more private, easier access to the beach and less congested). Thank you Wendy for sharing your rental with us-I think we will be looking to return in the future!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Wendy’s property. Everything was as advertised. The location was amazing! My kids loved being able to walk right on to the beach every morning and evening. The condo was very close to the restaurants of Glen Arbor and hiking trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Pure Michigan

I returned to this area after 25 years to the same refreshing water, quality condo, fresh air and cherries, of course! It was the first time I brought my family. Our 12 year old daughter and nine-year-old twin boys fell in love with it as did my husband. So we will be returning. Our host was actually up in the area and was able to help us out with a few things. She was so wonderful!

Great condo for smaller families or couples

Great location with easy access to the beach. In general, we have enjoyed the proximity of Homestead condos to Glen Arbor and many other things we enjoy for 25+ years. This condo has a nice, open kitchen and living area with great views and a good size deck we enjoyed. The decks/balconies in some of the other areas of condos at the Homestead are quite small, so this was a real plus. Wilderness condos also have access to fire pits on the beach which we enjoyed. Bedrooms were comfortable with a nice king bed in one and twin beds in the other. The weather got a little hot for part of our stay and the fans that were provided did a great job keeping the condo comfortable. The Wifi was fast/strong and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't have any issues and the one time we contacted Wendy she was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely come back to this condo in the future!

This location is really wonderful, literally steps away from beach.

Our timing was pretty good. We arrived a few days before Memorial weekend. To start, it was a quiet town and we enjoyed the beach practically all to ourselves. Then Friday brought in the crowds. However, in our little peace of heaven, you hardly knew until you went into the business district. Glen Arbor (and nearby towns) has so many things offer. Especially if you love nature. Would definitely visit again! Our family was made up of parents and two teenage girls. The fit was just right.

Wonderful Vacation Haven

Wendy is a wonderful host and obviously takes great pride in the maintenance of her family vacation spot. The condo is well-stocked and has everything one would need for a short stay. It is comfortable, clean and the outside porch area is a great place to chill and enjoy the lake view and most importantly, the magical sunset. I will definitely be coming back ....

Perfect family vacation

Wendy’s place is perfect for a family vacation. There was so much to do the and the location couldn’t be better. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. We will be back!
