We would like to mention that if you have children along with you on your trip, that they be monitored and we do not allow coloring markers or crayons in or outside of the house and there is no eating and drinking in the bedrooms or living room. Also, the porch swing on the porch is not to be played on as it will hit the wall on the porch and will cause damage to the house wall. Also, we ask that you watch your children around our screen on the screened in back porch as we have had it kicked out in the past.
We only mention all of this due to multiple incidents we have experienced and we just don’t want you to lose your deposit.

About the host

I am a local that enjoys this little historic town. I love history and art. I am the mother of twin daughters that are 27 years old and they help maintain this operation. I enjoy talking to people and seeing them smile.
Why they chose this property
This is a very stylish, cute, cozy under the Live Oaks and its relaxing and spacious for any occasion.
It is also on a secluded road where there is not constant traffic. The only traffic would only be the neighbors coming and going. All of the neighbors are very nice and very trustworthy. Very relaxing. You are in walking distance to the heart of town where everything is. You are three blocks away from the St Tammany Trace for biking and walking. It was an old railroad which is now a 31 mile track for walking, running, biking, and horse back riding. This town was an old boarding town for people who traveled here to relax and come get well if they were sick from the medicinal healing powers of the water, discovered by the Choctaw Indians. It is quite a lovely little historic town. Great amenities in town. Very safe
