We loved this house. It was everything we needed for our stay and location was close to everything! The hosts were easily contacted, quick responses when needed and so helpful! Easy check in and check out process. The outdoor patio was great and very relaxing with a nice breeze, if you have kids the playset was great too. My daughter loved the train set and doll house! Decor is so cute and the house is very clean! If we can visit again we will definitely book again!
House was wonderful, had everything we needed. It was also in a good location for us to drive down to New Orleans. We would stay here again if we’re ever in the area.
This property is BEAUTIFUL and is, by far, the best rental I've ever stayed in. The photos truly doesn't do it justice. Beds were super comfortable, especially the king. The house comes equipped with everything you need. Communication with hosts was great and they graciously gave me an extra 15 minutes on check out, due to weather. 10/10 highly recommend!!

This house is inhabited by cockroaches and black widow spiders. The interior is dated and someone attempted to paint it quickly and poorly. It is very poorly stocked and I had to buy a hair dryer and extra toilet paper. There were no hand towels or washcloths and it is missing most basic kitchen items. After my complaints the host put in a Walmart order for some of the basics which helped. There is no curb appeal, as the outside is weeds and spider webs. There is broken glass and hornet nests on the back patio. New cockroaches appeared daily and we killed a blackwidow in the hallway outside the bedrooms. The host offered to go to Home Depot to buy products to deal with the bugs but we declined as we didn’t feel that would help. I repeatedly explained that this property was dirty, not habitable and highly overpriced and he refused to even give me half the amount back. The Frogger video game was the best part of the stay.
We absolutely loved this quiet and quaint little place. It was great! My daughter and I came to town with our fur baby to visit with family. The hosts were so friendly and very accommodating. I had a 6 yr old niece and 10 yr old nephew visit while staying and they absolutely loved the outdoor play area while the adults enjoyed the covered patio where we grilled for my mother-in-laws birthday. The only thing I warn you about is this is a shotgun house. I knew what it was going in but not everyone does. So if you do not know what that means, the bedrooms are all connected. There is one bedroom all the way to the front that would get the most privacy. However, with it being a historical house there isn't much privacy. I did not mind that at all and the character of the home totally makes up for it for me. Just making you aware. I love old homes with lots of character and this home did not disappoint. Highly recommend the home and the hosts. Will visit again.
