This beautiful three-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment for rent in the San Juan area (Loiza Town) has impressive amenities as part of the Aquatika development. This vacation home has excellent facilities like pools, saucer and basketball courts, etc. Also has a family room and a terrace, sleeps up to 8 persons and has excellent accommodations. Step into the glass-front living room to see the local pool with jacuzzi and gazebo. The development has many pools including a Lazzy River, Water Park, club house with entertainment area, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts, mini-golf, and charcoal grills. Thanks so much for your kind words and quick send off of the security
deposit! We loved the Villa. My oldest took over the family room upstairs
and enjoyed having his own space. I liked the fact that the master bdrm
was quiet with the fan overhead from the rest of the place. I like to
sleep in a bit and it was perfect. My friend was impressed with the
kitchen and the upscale provisions. I loved having the washer and dryer in
the place as I think we managed to throw in a load each day and came
home with clean clothes. (that is great for me being a working Mom). The
grounds are gorgeous and your neighbors were all kind and helpful. We
had fun sitting in the hot tubs with them as they shared their beer and
talked of the many great things to see and do on the island. We also
found it easy to find our way around the island.

Thanks so much for all your help and all the suggestions you made prior to our arrival. It was a nice touch to receive your call during our stay to make sure everything was meeting our expectations. It was much
more than we expected!

Apartment was beautiful, spacious and clean. We had everything needed to cook meals. Loved that we had a rooftop to ourselves. The pool area was nice but sometimes it needed cleaning. Liked that there was a beach about 15 minutes away.

Vacation with family who live there in Puerto Rico.

Location was safe, roomy, very clean, and very beautiful. It's located in a semi-remote area, so a rental car is a must.

wish we had more time

my wife and i rented the penthouse from hector at aquatica in loiza puerto rico. it was beautiful.the place its self was so relaxing and the beach was beautiful the sunsets we amazing. everything you need to do is just within miles.snorkeling at east island excusions,the rain forest, the casinos, beautiful beaches and many stores were right of the highway. i loved it and can not wait to return. hector was so nice he even came to meet us. he returned the security check promply. the whole resort is peaceful.

Authentic and Beautiful Stay

This property in Loiza is beautiful and did not disappoint. Centrally located, it's about a 30-minute drive to several major attractions. The area feels like an authentic experience, and from the balcony, you can hear music from the local bar (we had a great time salsa dancing in the moonlight) and wild roosters clucking in the distance. There are local shops and food stands on the main road, but you'll definitely need a rental car to reach larger, more commercial stores and restaurants. The pools, each under 4 feet deep, are not super busy (no lifeguards on duty). The beach area is small but picturesque. The property was clean, well-maintained, had all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay (e.g. dishes, towels, washer/ dryer, cooler that can be brought to the beach). Hector is an attentive and friendly host. If we travel to Puerto Rico again, we will absolutely stay at this property.

Perfect place for us

Hector was very communicative and took care of our needs quickly. Lovely roof deck. We had seven people (5 teens) 1 queen for grandparents. 1 queen for granddaughter. 1 Bunkbed for two grandsons. Moved the trundle/mattress to living room. 1 futon in the upstairs loft. Nice big table. Guards attentive. Nice to have W/D. I asked the teens for their opinion: 1) Lukewarm hot water, 2) pools are all 3 feet. We loved the beach and did not bother going elsewhere. As others have said, it feels fairly isolated from restaurants and groceries if you can't hang with the locals. Location was good for our various travels east and west. Highly recommended.

Misleading

First off your not in ocean park!! Your in Loiza! Do some research on Loiza PR!! I gave it one star just because the condominium is the nicest property in the area and the condo we were in was nice. BUT..the water features did not work. The pools needed to be cleaned. As long as your locked in the gate you feel safe. Surrounding areas are NOT family friendly!! The beach is littered with broken glass. To go out to eat (family friendly) or grocery store plan on it being a 30 min or more drive!! I do not recommend anyone staying here!!

Best owner I've ever worked with

The complex was so nice with all the different pool options, playgrounds, and volleyball area. The beach was great with enough palm trees to sit in the shade and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves. The apartment was so nice and comfortable. We loved having extra space to spread out. The rooftop patio was nice to enjoy a drink on. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated and the tv options made my kids happy! Hector, the owner, has really provided everything you need to feel at home and welcome. The communication from Hector beforehand was so impressive. He provided all the information on how to get there, apartment check in and check out, and even suggestions for local activities and places to go. Any questions I had were answered in such a timely manner (less than an hour). He even went above and beyond by helping me with a few special requests. The only issue we had was that the water temperature was hard to control in the showers, but we certainly made do and it wouldn't keep us from going back and recommending it our friends. While there wasn't a ton of stuff right in the area around Aquatika, we found everything was a short drive away. The best thing was we could easily go East or West for excurtions and it wasn't that bad a drive. Thanks for a great trip Hector! We hope to come back soon.

Undisclosed details & Daily power outages

After booking, we received an email from the host advising the location in the listing was incorrect. This property is actually in Loiza not San Juan. One of the main reasons for booking this property was the waterpark. Upon arrival we discovered the waterpark was under construction/closed. This information should have been disclosed at time of booking. The complex has a couple other pools and a lazy river which were open however one had broken coverings over vents in the pool which could result in injury. There is also a nice little beach. The complex is gated and quite safe and has a few small children's parks which are in good shape. One of the biggest issues with this property is the daily power outages lasting hours. On 2 occasions over 12 hours each. This results in no AC, internet or TV. We found it strange that power was on at buildings on either side of this complex when the power was out for us. While there are posted strict conditions regarding noise at the complex, this is not supervised and several nights saw parties and loud music into the early hours of the morning. Regarding the specific condo unit, it is in need of attention. The main AC unit screeches when it starts up, lasting sometimes as long as 10 minutes. During power outages, the smoke detectors chirp continuously. We discovered during one of the power outages, of the 4 smoke detectors, only 2 were functional. The window blinds are very old and difficult to maneuver. Would not recommend.

Our condo was very clean. We stayed during a hurricane and our host was very responsive. Aside from losing power periodically which wasn’t the hosts fault. It was a wonderful stay. Loved that we had a washer/dryer in the unit as well.

The directions were spot on. I liked that this is a gated community. Listing said water park, its just one small slide that only runs on the weekend the lazy river is not a circle, it has a starting point and end point, like a long pool, you need a pool noodle or floatie to "float". Since we came in late Sunday night and left early Saturday morning we never saw them actually on. The club house is empty, nothing going on in there. There are no bars and no stores to get anything on the resort, you have to drive off the resort. You must provide your own chair and umbrella at the beach, there is no beach service. It was really nice that there were items such as after sun care, coffee filters, garbage bags and other last minute things you might need. The basketball there has a leak but they do have a volleyball, some snorkeling stuff, umbrellas (it rains daily), beach chairs for the beach, cooler with wheels and beach towels. There was also laundry detergent, (having private laundry was amazing). I need a fan to sleep, each room had their own unit that ran continuously. I did notice that they cycle the power so it would turn off randomly at night for about 15-20 minutes. The full wall of windows in the living room was beautiful, it over looks the one pool. We flew into San Juan, Walmart is very close so we stopped there on our way. If you plan on going to Vieques on the ferry get tickets early before you trip so you can get a good departure time.

Great resort

Great family resort with a lot of pools and space to run around. Lazy river was under construction but there were four other pools to play around in. Hector was a great host. Very communicative, available and responsive.

Spacious , plenty of room for 4 adults but chair was broken ( metal piece poking up from bottom) and couch was not comfortable in main living area. Everything was ok but overall cleanliness could be improved. Amenities were nice with beach chairs and towels provided. Good restaurants in area. Enjoyed our stay

Puerto Rico stay at Lioza

Great and spacious condo! 5 pools and small private beach. Condo was clean and well kept, however could use deep cleaning in the corners, etc. owner was very good at communicating! Enjoyed our stay, there were six of us. Would definitely stay again. Resort is gated so felt safe all the time.

Family of 6 vacation

We had a wonderful time visiting Puerto Rico! Overall Aquatika resorts was a great place for a family to stay. We enjoyed the multiple pools, hot tubs and access to the beach. The only downfall was the surrounding neighborhood; parties that would last until 3am, blasting loud music, lighting off fireworks and roosters that will constantly make noise. The resort it self though was very clean, felt safe and provided fun for the whole family.

Great family vacation spot

The space is perfect for family. It’s affordable. It’s a good location. Pools, beach and food are all nearby. We were able to get a taxi to drive us to tourist destinations. I love it, the kids loved it. My son didn’t want to leave.

Great spot to vacation in

Family and I had a great experience in this location. Initially the listing said it was in San Juan and we were going to Uber around. But once we booked we found the listing was incorrect and you needed a car. Hector reached out and asked if I wanted to cancel I could due to the miss information which was nice of him. Other than that, make sure to purchase food for the stay as it far from grocery stores. My kids had an awesome time in the pools and private beach. Hector was contacting me from start to finish to ensure everything went well. Thank you Hector and we can’t wait to stay again.

Tons of space, great property

We had a great five-night stay in this condo with a 12-year-old, 15-year-old, and two adults. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own room and then some. The full kitchen allowed us to cook several of our own meals (which was good, since we could get groceries but many restaurants seems to be closed during the week - this could be because of Holy Week or it might be that the big crowds only come on weekends). The pools were wonderful and there we several so the kids could visit multiple ones. The beach was a five-minute walk and was not crowded at all. Hector was always just a text away for any questions that came up, and he was very welcoming.

This property are very well prepared to let people feel like if they are at home or better than that. The kitchen is in top conditions and was remodeled with a new and better counter-top and back-splash. it is well equipped and all dishes, pots and pans, glasses, etc are very well organized.
Each bedroom are very well decorated. Also, has its new air conditioning with very well illumination and its side table and lamp.
The bathrooms are very well prepared with a rug, hair blower, hand soap and a regular soap, etc.
