Overlooking Park with 1st and 2nd Floor Primary Suites - Anchors by the Park

Staying at our home, Anchors by The Park, you will experience all that Cape Charles has to offer, being just three blocks from the beach and Mason Street. Built in 2016, this home features two primary suites, one being on the first floor. With the home facing the central park, you can enjoy summer concerts right from the front porches. The first floor offers an open floor plan. The second floor includes, the second primary suite, a third bedroom large enough to accommodate four adults or children, an additional open gaming area with a pull-out couch. The spacious backyard, which includes a gas grill and an outdoor shower, is perfect for gatherings or for relaxing while sitting under the screened-in back deck. Additionally, we offer a four-seater and six-seater beach cruisers available to rent, ready to go when you arrive on the property.
Note: Children ages 2 and under do not need to be added to the guest total when booking.

Great location next to the park and a short walk to the beach. Being able to rent the golf carts and having them ready for us when we arrived was a wonderful convenience. Front porch was great for after dinner ice cream.

Anchors by the Park was a perfect stay for our family of five, plus grandparents! The location was amazing, right next to the park & playground and an easy walk or ride to the beach or into town. Having the golf cart on-property was so convenient and we used it all the time. The rooms were great for us and the kids loved the loft & arcade game setup. The two porches were wonderful for relaxing in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay again!

LOVED this house!! We were lucky enough to be here during the summer concert series and we could sit on the porch and see the concert! The kids loved the games in the house and having the playground so close the house was just perfect. The house was so comfy and clean and had everything we could need. Originally from Philadelphia, (John) and my wife (Rachelle) is from New Orleans, however we make Virginia Beach our home now and have been in the area since 2003. We have been making trips to Cape Charles during this time and really enjoy the small-town charm of the place. In 2015, we decided to embark on building a vacation home that we and others can utilize as a getaway from what is usually a busy schedule.

Why they chose this property

Our new custom home is made perfect for relaxing, with everything close by. It's an easy walk to the beach or to the main street in town. My favorite is sitting on the front porch in the summer and enjoying the concerts on Saturday nights in the park, great seats without leaving the house. If you have kids, the playground is right past the neighbor's house.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the concerts in the Park right from the front porch. If you are traveling with children, you can send them right outside to the swings in the playground to keep them occupied, if needed. You do not have to go far to take a peaceful stroll along the pathway in the park, located across the street in front of the house.
