Delightful Dutch Farmhouse with Guest House

A newly restored Dutch farmhouse, located on 5 gorgeous acres in Santa Ynez. You will soon see that Goodgame Ranch is a property right out of the movies! Close to town, this home features lush park-like grounds with a pool, spa, and a beautiful rustic barn and corral. This comfortably charming home is excellent for entertaining, inside and out, with unlimited attention to detail and plenty of amenities. There are three private rooms upstairs, two rooms with king beds and one room with two twin beds. The master bedroom features a flat screen television and full bath with shower and tub. Downstairs, guests can sleep on a sleeper sofa bed with full bath en suite. This is not a private room but the perfect arrangement for extra guests.

***Prior to the recent Santa Barbara County ordinance restricting short term rentals (30 days or less), this home has always been rented as a 5 bedroom property, with sleeper sofa in common area, accommodating up to 12 adults. Current code only allows 6 adults ( in 3 bedrooms)—additional children are allowed, up to maximum of 10. We abide by this ordinance. Rentals of 30 days or more allow up to 10 adults. We want to accurately disclose that this home is larger than a 3 bedroom home, for those seeking 31 days or more rentals.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
• Replace moved furniture • Check drawers and closets for personal items • Make sure you logout of any personal apps on TVs • Place all used towels in bathroom • Please leave all bedding on beds
• Clean all dishes, pots/pans, and utensils • Remove any opened food items from refrigerator • Check that BBQ is clean of residue and propane tank is turned off
• Bag all trash and take out to the appropriate receptacles • Turn off all lights, appliances, A/C, and heat • Close and lock all doors and windows • Leave key in lockbox upon departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Upon arrival, please review House Resource for important rules details. Do no remove pool hose! Failure to follow can result in forfeit of deposit.
10pm Noise Curfew 5 vehicles max.; unless otherwise approved by host. Please leave property in the condition that it was upon arrival.
This is a private residence. As such, maintenance crews will need access to care for grounds and pools. No more than 4 daytime guests

The Dutch Farmhouse is so charming with amazing grounds and lots of space. We spent a weekend with our daughters and their families and ended up spending most of our time at the house because we were so comfortable! The cows were an added bonus! Check-in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The Dutch Farmhouse was an excellent location for a gathering of some friends of mine. The house is beautiful. The grounds are spacious, and everything is maintained with the utmost care and love. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The check in and check out processes were clear and easy to execute. We would highly recommend this property for a small gathering of adults or maybe a large family.

Great Spot for Families

We chose this location for our stay for my siblings and dad (and their families) for a family wedding down the road. The space was wonderful for groups and kids as we all had our own space and areas the run around. The pool was wonderful and the yard was lush!

Upon first arriving, my daughter wanted to stay for a week! The pool, spa, abundance of sleeping options... and the highland cows! They are adorable! Everything was clean, organized and the bathroom soaps and such an unexpected bonus. We had peacokcs greet the family staying in the guest house, went to sleep with sounds of nature and the cows let us sleepin until after 8am before they said good morning. We would love to come back!

A Wonderful Stay

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Was large enough to fit all our family members but feel like we had our space. The Backyard is to die for an absolutely was the highlight of our stay. Pam was extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. Will be staying there again if we are ever in the area.

Excellent property for a family getaway

Really enjoyed the property. Well stocked with dishes, cookware, and they have a Weber gas grill! The pool was great, and plenty of beach towels. The guest house, and bedrooms allowed for enough space and the house was sparkly clean. Would book here again if we have a large number of people.

Great girls reunion weekend!

We needed a place to stay that could accommodate 10 women 60+ This place worked out perfect. It was well stocked with dishes, glasses and towels and other items. The pool area was lovely and we never left! We would rent this place again in the future.
