Beautiful property for a family gathering, we really enjoyed our stay. (A few of us were glad we didn’t bring small children or high drive pets. You don’t get those views without being on top of a hill and the pool is open.) Wonderfully equipped kitchen so making family meals worked out perfect. Beds were comfortable with beautiful linens and every amenity was provided. Highly recommend!

This place is glorious. The pictures and description were all accurate, but somehow it was even more amazing in person. The location is great - very short drive to Buellton, Solvang, etc - but also felt very remote and private in a way that is both relaxing and comforting. Lots of good hiking trails, the views from the house are second to none, the pool temperature was perfect. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. One thing that the posting doesn’t really convey is the size of the house. We were four couples and yet there was so much space that you could easily wander around for hours without seeing anyone if you were so inclined. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was the first time we’ve rented a place and went absolutely nowhere during the weekend. Jeff was a great host and made sure we were settled in and comfortable . Would 100% stay here again.

This incredible property has perhaps the best view I’ve ever experienced. And however, large it looks on the listing, you can’t imagine how big a space this is.The host is terrific, accommodating, and communicates well. Don’t miss it.

An Iconic Spot in the Santa Ynez Valley

This property is truly iconic. Our family had a stay that we will never forget. Was for certain one of our best VRBO experiences ever. For starters, Jeff Hartman was a truly amazing host. He took extra time to tell us stories of the local area and the amazing history of the property. All of our guests truly appreciated it. It was a unique, personal touch. The property is beyond description -- perched over the entire Santa Ynez valley you will have unobstructed views for miles...in one direction overlooking the valley...and the other looking back towards the Santa Barbara coast. The decor is both premium and homey. You feel like you are truly staying in your own ultra luxe vacation home. Lots of great sitting areas to visit with family and talk while enjoying endless amazing views. For art lovers, the house is a true paradise -- the home is full of so many beautiful paintings you will enjoy walking past and admiring day after day. The structure itself is truly unique...it is a conversion of a massive old barn...constructed of reclaimed wood from a pier in Monterrey, CA. The center of the house is a huge open space with wall-to-wall Mexican tile and beautiful chandeliers. Our group affectionately called it "The Plaza" where we came together from our separate quarters to begin each day. We'll never forget our stay and Jeff's hospitality. He would check in every couple of days to make sure we were having a perfect stay. One of a kind experience.

The house and the property were amazing. We had 10 family members staying there with 3 other family members visiting for the day.The views were beautiful and the hiking great. The beds were comfortable and I loved the bed pillows and would like to know the brand so I could purchase for home. All in all it was a great find and a great stay!
