We had a fantastic time in this beautiful gite. Didier was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. It was in a quiet location and well equipped with the pool, table tennis, games, kitchen and a gorgeous garden with fruit trees and herbs free for use! Lots of villages, markets, chateaux, caves, Velorail accessible by car. We would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful tranquil house and garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and filled with lots of antiques which added character. The house is in a quiet rural location but close to Excideuil (we recomend the market) and Brantome for kayaking. Didier was a lovely host and came early in the morning every other day to clean the pool. Would highly recommend

Quel havre de paix, cette maison est plein de charme et nous a permis de nous ressourcer. Que dire du jardin avec piscine tout est fait pour passer du temps dans ce lieu.Didier notre hote est très accueillant et aux petits soins.

Wij hebben een prachtige vakantie gevierd in dit verblijf. Bij het binnenrijden van de poort meteen een onder de indruk. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door eigenaar Didier. In de woonkamer bleef het lekker koel ondanks de hoge temperaturen. De tuin is ronduit schitterend. Het huis is ingericht als een levend museum wat soms wat wennen is (oude portretfoto's in de slaapkamer etc) maar dat is persoonlijke smaak. Het huis is verder heel erg proper, netjes onderhouden. De bedden kunnen wel eens een nieuwe matras gebruiken maar verder helemaal geslaagde vakantie!

Het is een geweldig unieke ervaring. Het huis uit de 17e eeuw ademt historie, rust en is één groot museum. Het is hier nu zomers warm buiten, 40 graden wordt het vanmiddag, maar binnen blijft het koel door meters dikke muren en oude stenen vloeren. Het zwembad maakt de zomerse ervaring compleet. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door onze gastheer Didier. Een prachtige tuin, talloze vogels en in huis overal stukjes met verse wilde bloemen, zelfs in de slaapkamers. Een mooie en unieke ervaring.

Charmante, authentieke woning gelegen in een prachtig streek. Wij hebben hier 2 weken verbleven met ons gezin van 3 kindjes en de grootouders. Vriendelijk ontvangst van de gastheer die om de twee dagen het zwembad kwam poetsen en het vuil mee nam. Omliggend heel erg mooie dorpjes om te verkennen. Er leek wel een probleempje met de afvoer (onaangenaam geurtje in de badkamer). Zeker een aanrader voor gezinnetje die de rust opzoeken.
