Lake Front Pet Friendly House On Greenwood Lake!

Summer swimming and boating with private dock and propane BBQ on the lakeside deck. Boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals are available at local marinas. There are many choices of restaurants right on the lake to get to by car or boat!

Enjoy the rich autumn foliage and local apple picking and antiqueng.

Wintertime is Beautiful! Return to a cozy fire in the stone fireplace after a day of local skiing and snow tubing at Mountain Creek, Mount Peter or Stirling Mt. Have fun ice skating and snowmobiling on the Lake!!.
Just an hour from New York City sites and attraction. Walking distance to NYC bus. Woodbury Commons outlet shopping nearby. The Renaissance Festival at nearby Tuxedo. Mt. Appalachian Trail has great hiking. Great restaurants! It has it all!

The Town of Warwick, NY ia nearby, which is a wonderful town with shops, great restaurants, farmers market, coffee houses, wineries, alpacas farm, antique shops and JV Headquarters. Warwick Drive In Movies.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please turn off AC units or in winter turn down thermastats to 67.
Close and lock windows and doors. In warm weather please leave upstairs window and dining room window open a little.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles directly in front of our brick house on gravel.
We are in a residential area in the Town of Warwick. Guests need to be considerate to residents in neighboring homes. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.
Littering is illegal and all guests are subject to NY Penal Code section 240.20 or any statue regarding disorderly conduct.

My husband, Ira and I are New Yorkers. He grew up in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium and I grew up in Mount Vernon. As a child, Ira's family would spent summers in the Catskills and he had a special memory of being in a motorized boat with his Dad and friends on a beautiful, grand lake. When our kids were about that age, he drove us to find 'the lake' and we did!

Why they chose this property

The moment we stepped foot on the deck and took in the incredible view of the lake, we fell in love. To this day, the deck is our favorite part of the house. It is so peaceful and lovely.

What makes this property unique

Along with these views, it is a very functional, easy house. The open floor plan downstairs, makes it very comfortable for visiting, sharing a meal or a movie and just hanging out. The three bedrooms upstairs are roomy with views of the lake.
We are so excited that we have been able to remodel both bathrooms, the kitchen with granite counters, new cabinets and appliances and hardwood floors downstairs!!
