This property was top notch! The host explained everything to us upon arrival and there was a lot to know - as it had a pool, hot tub, fire pit, well-appointed kitchen, and beautiful grounds that the host welcomed us to explore. It is a fabulous place for a family/friends gathering.
The farmhouse was perfect for our family graduation weekend . Quiet and peaceful. cows and farm fresh eggs. Randy was an awesome host and his suggestion of personal chef Javan Small was incredible and the perfect dinner experience for this home.
Wonderful property with much to do and explore! We enjoyed being together as a family to celebrate our son's wedding at a nearby venue. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 77. There was a large dining area where we all could enjoy a meal and be together and there were plenty of quiet bedrooms for much needed naps. The grandkids loved the hot tub, swing, chickens and cows along with a hiking to the fish hatchery. The secluded property was surprisingly close to town - very helpful for our many grocery store runs.
This was a perfect rental for our family. The house and property are gorgeous and so well kept. The pool and pond provided hours offun for everyone, and veggies from the garden were a nice extra treat. We give this property our highest recommendation and we hope to return again in the future. We use VRBO a lot, and this was one of the very best! You will not be disappointed.
Our older Girl Scout Troop stayed at this property as a “luxury” year end trip. Everything was spectacular! There was plenty of room inside and out for everyone to enjoy themselves. The heated pool, hot tub, and the chickens were the highlights of the trip for the girls. Everything is top notch, clean, and well-manicured. Owner was very responsive. Can’t wait to come back!
Well appointed stay for a large family trip with young kids
We had a great stay on the farm, which accommodated our large family including six kids three and under. Even in the winter, the kids were able to enjoy some of the farm activities! Randy was extremely communicative and an all around great host. We are already talking about visiting again in the summer!
What an amazing place! my extended family of 9 adults and 3 teens were perfectly comfortable here, and only wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of space to spread out and be together when we wanted but not be in each other's space all day long. Loved the pool and the fact that there was space for all of us at the dining room tables, both inside and out. Will hopefully be back again!
We were a group of 14 coming to PA for a family reunion and we loved staying at this property. There was space for everyone and the house had everything we needed. The pool was what really stood out to us. Its absolutely beautiful and was much needed in the heat. We all had a great time!
We recently stayed at the farmhouse for a girls weekend, and we all agreed the house and property is amazing! Randy was an excellent host and was responsive and accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed. Would love to return in the future!
The house was clean, big and comfortable with plenty of room for all 10 of us. The property is better than advertised and kept us busy for 2 days. Would definitely return
Pre-visit communication was necessary as our stay was for a specific need. Being it was during the covid mess we required a lot of assistance and Randy could not have been more helpful, kind and accomodating.
Check in was so simple.
We are a very large family and had several other family members stay through out the week and there was plenty of space.
We cooked almost all meals in the home and had everything we needed.
More than enough towels for in the house and the pool.
Every single bed was extremely comfortable as was all the bedding provided.
Extras provided in bathrooms, kitchen, toys outside, games and puzzles inside, all were appreciated and utilized.
The home is clean, absolutley gorgeous in every room, comfortable, spacious and decorated to make you feel welcomed, relaxed and joyful being there. Everyone loved the sunroof at one point or another for the quiet beauty if offers. The grounds are gorgeous and were enjoyed as much as the house.
The sunrises over the barn and sunsets beyond the garden are picture perfect.
Highly recommend this home and Randy, the host, as the perfect PA place to stay.
The farmhouse is an amazing experience and Randy couldn't be a more welcoming owner. The pool is wonderful, the house is huge, and the kitchen is amazingly stocked. We'll be back next year!
This property and Randy's excellent service exceeded our every expectation. The house is in beautiful condition and stocked with every item you could possibly need. The farm has such a peaceful tranquility. We 100% will rent the Mount Joy Farmhouse again!
