We had a rough check-in because the house wasn’t ready and looked very lived in. Turns out the owner, John, moved out for us to move in. We almost didn’t stay but it was clean when we finally got in and we were very glad we did. It’s a very sweet house! And John was available and a good communicator. Bed was comfortable, shower was great & we used the gas fire place to take chill off (nice for us Coloradans to not have to chop wood!). House got good sun and the yard was spacious and pretty. We enjoyed walks around the unpretentious neighborhood, and in the nearby Hillsboro downtown, we found good restaurants for take-out and coffee, all about 1/2 mile away. We even extended our time a few days (total 3.5 weeks). Hope we can come back! It’s a great place to stay to visit our family. Thanks John!
I rented this house while working in the area. It was so convenient that I was five minutes from work. Not luxury but felt like you were staying with friends or family. WIDE variety of books and the gas fireplace is wonderful
We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home near downtown Hillsboro, OR.
The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was there such as dishes. pots, pans, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, bedding, towels, nice tub and shower, warm and comfortable beds, and a gas fireplace that made the place comfy and warm. We loved staying there and will definitely come back. Thanks!
