Pinewood Haven is a peaceful retreat located on ten private acres in the beautiful Wet Mountains, about 3 hours southwest of Denver on the outskirts of historical Westcliffe, CO—a designated “Dark Sky Community”. The property offers breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and beautiful sprawling meadows. Whether you’re a nature-lover, a stargazer or an adventure-seeker, you’ll love exploring all that Westcliffe has to offer.

Pinewood Haven is the ideal place to relax and unwind. At over 7,800 feet above sea level, Westcliffe offers clean air, wide open spaces, incomparable scenic beauty and some 300 square miles of public lands where one can enjoy hundreds of miles of trails, dozens of mountain lakes and herds of wildlife. These lands are also home to the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness area, Deweese Reservoir and nearby Arkansas River. What’s more, the adjoining towns of Silver Cliff and Westcliffe offer some great restaurants and bars, fun shops, a thriving arts scene, historical attractions and nearly nonstop festivals and events during the summer months.

Pinewood Haven is Heaven

Pinewood Haven is an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature right at your doorstep. It has all the amenities needed for a stress-free vacation. It is professionally decorated, ideally located with views, and surrounded by nature. You won’t find a more enjoyable cabin. We loved our stay and look forward to returning next year.

At Home in the Mountains

First time in Westcliffe and Sangre de Cristo mountains. This rental made us feel at home. The views were spectacular, both mountains by day and the stars by night. Hiking close by with awesome views of colors. Would love to come back!

Perfect getaway

Pinewood Haven is a beautiful cabin nestled in the foothills with stunning views of the Sangre de Christos mountain range. Our stay there with our two grandchildren was awesome. The cabin is warm and cozy. It is the most well appointed cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Though not a deal breaker, my only disappointment was there was not a TV in the main living space. We had a planned a day in the cabin to watch movies and make popcorn. There are tv’s in two of the bedrooms. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The wildlife watching was our highlight!

Great place to stay for a family!

This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view. It is fully stocked and very comfortable for a family. The only drawback is that it's pretty far from Westcliffe (about 25 minutes) so if you want to do things in town, it's not easy to go in and out. If you're looking to stay put and unwind in a beautiful setting, this is it.

My wife and I had a relaxing getaway in this owners mountain cabin. It was well appointed with everything you could need. The bed slept wonderful. The drive to get here is gorgeous. We cannot say enough good things about our stay! The setting is absolutely beautiful. The house was spotless and so well appointed. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. We owned a cabin for 10 years just a few miles from this one. Love the area and loved this cabin. Very nice, great location with beautiful views. My oldest son and I stayed and had hoped my youngest son could join us. I will certainly consider this place again if I come back to the Westcliffe area.
