WARNING: Host will wait until you check in and then tell you that the booking is for less days than confirmed and use predatory practices saying you have to accept the initial days to process through the request for the final day. The host knew they could only book for the shorter days because that was on the paper work at check in. They didn’t want us to cancel the whole trip, which we would have done, so they waited to inform us until after check in and driving 10.5 hours knowing we were stuck. VRBO said this posting will be removed but because I didn’t have a great experience with their customer service initially, I’m not sure it will so BEWARE!

We had a wonderful stay at Smuggs and this location in Willows was so convenient with a short walk to ski down to the Morse lift and ski school meeting area. It was spacious for our family of 4 and a great retreat over the holidays to get some skiing in! Thank you!!
Wonderful resort with a number of amenities. Very spacious and can hold the number of people. Originally was staying to go ski at Stowe however, the road was closed (closes every winter) but is very close to another resort.
This property had everything we hoped for and more! The layout of the home was even more spacious than the photos portray. There is a heated pool as well as a game room that we enjoyed while watching our oldest son come down the slopes! The resort itself was wonderful and all had a wonderful stay!
Very nice, large suite and great activities for kids. Horrible check-in procedure - took 3 hours to get our room (past when it was supposed to be ready) and little communication about when it would be ready.
Property was as described, well stocked with essentials, big rooms, clean, but a little dated. Very convenient location! Only flaw was booking said had a pool available but cost 109.00/day to use all the pools and facilities. No Wyndham staff work on the weekends so we were unable to get any answers.

I didn't realie that I would be staying in a one bedroom apartment on top of the mountain at a HUGE resort. It was absolutely wonderful! It was close to everything, and it gave us plenty of room with our 9 month old.
I cant recommend this place any more!

We booked our stay almost a year in advance in order to be there for the solar eclipse. However, about four or five months prior to our arrival they canceled us. And they did this because we had the reservation at the normal rate and they canceled us so they could turn around and rent out the unit For significantly more.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was close to many hiking trails and the heated pool, gym and splashpad were just around the corner. We were able to use the basketball courts, gaga ball, fire pit, mini golf and game zone in the main resort that was just a short drive or shuttle away. The front desk was very accomodating to our needs. The only thing I didn't see was an elevator in the building. There was a large queen and an extra long twin trundle. The bathroom was large and contained a stackable washer and dryer. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay at Smugglers Notch. Spacious living and dining area. Great tv. The resort itself was great.
Carpet was dirty. Bathrooms were small but adequate.
The host texted us a couple of days out saying to not tell the check in clerk that it was a VRBO but to say we were his guest. That seemed sneaky to us but luckily we weren’t asked. Communication wasn’t great with the host after we arrived.

We had reservations for Jan 20 thru 23. 2 days before we are going we get a message that Monday got cancelled!!! They were going to give us thru Friday but we had to leave on the 23rd. I am handicapped and can not do steps we asked for a 1st floor unit. We checked in on Tuesday at 10:00 and we were so happy that the room was ready! It was on the 4th floor and there was an elevator. Unpacked and the elevator was BROKEN!!! We had to wait until 3:00 and I had no ware to go!!! VERY not compassionate!!!!!!

Host was not truthful or helpful
Unfortunately the host misled us. I understand an expensive Daycation pass is required for the water slides and some of the pools. I explicitly asked him though if we will still have access to some pools and he said yes. He also confirmed we have access to water sports. I told him if this wasn’t the case I was going to reconsider the stay. However upon check in we were told that time share owner benefits do not transfer to guests. We were out of luck. The property offered to let us use the West Hill pool at 70$ for the week, which we declined. The host was not helpful when I informed him of this and his messages suggested little knowledge of the property. I advised VRBO within 24 hours that the property was not as described , however they were also not helpful. Overall, very disappointed that the host misled us and didn’t care to make it right. He didn’t contact the property for us, or the owner. Happy to share my correspondence with the host with the misleading info.

Nice stay, horrible reservation process
3rd party property manager was very unhelpful and we never received final confirmation from the resort for our reservation until 9am the day we were due to check in.

Watch out for hidden fees
There are hidden resort fees that the rental agent disclosed on a details page, not on the main rental page. Suit wasn’t a 5 clean and smelled like fire place wood.
Great accommodations
Understaffed in common recreation areas

Buyer beware! Pools not included
Beware that if you rent smugglers notch through VRBO there are no activities or pool use included with your stay. They charge you $100 pp per night if you want to use any pools or do any activities. That’s the same price they charge for a day pass for people not staying on the property.
A beautiful unit with pent of space and amenities and all if the little things things you need for a great stay. Enjoyed the location and the view as well as the access to resort offerings. A wonderful stay!

Home smells-went to different unit!!!
My family and I stayed for less than five minutes and couldn’t tolerate the mildew smell. Smuggs staff moved us immediately upon arrival to a different condo. There is no way we would book this property again or recommend it. The blinds were also ripped off the wall. Do not stay here!!!!!!!!! It smells terrible!!
