Valhalla is the quintessential riverfront log cabin. The view of the Little Pigeon River off the back deck, and from the private fishing deck below it, is absolutely beautiful. The sounds of nature, from chirping birds to the rush of the river over the rapids just downstream, will be the soundtrack to an amazing family getaway. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath rustic log cabin is truly a little piece of heaven nestled in seclusion just outside of Gatlinbvrg and Pigeon Forge. You're close enough to be able to enjoy all of the excitement if you like, yet far enough away to escape the hustle bustie and enjoy being close to nature. The cabin is incredibly comfortable, spacious - yet cozy, and gives the visitor a true feeling of home away from home. it features a spacious kitchen, living room, library, two bedrooms, two full baths, a laundry complete with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. But the inside is just a portion of your enjoyment here. Outside, there are walking trails leading down to the river's edge, a fantastic picnic area complete with a picnic table (or separate benches if you prefer) and charcoal grill. Besides the large deck off the back of the cabin, there is a lower deck which overhangs the Little Pigeon River. This is a great place from which to "catch the big one" or just relax. We are sure you will love Valhalla!

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Location is perfect - beautiful and not too far from everything. My husband and son got a lot of use from the fishing dock - didn't catch anything, but saw some otters! Very peaceful setting.
Loved the cozy cabin. Beautiful view of the river.
They snow was awesome and a great touch to the view. I would love to rent there everytime we come up to Tennessee.
We traveled from Texas and our family from Indiana. We were all familiar with Eastern Tennessee and could not wait to arrive after seeing pics and booking.
The cabin was absolutely perfect! Right on the river! Gorgeous views and convenient location.
If you fear a little mountain driving you may be a little nervous, but keep going! This cabin is perfect!
We experienced at least 3 seasons on our March trip and it was great! Our oldest even did a little polar plunge in the river! We even had a nightly routine of going and watching the river otters!
Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge are just a short distance away--with amazing views the entire drive.
A couple things that we may have missed upon booking-- No WiFi and no camp fires. Those things didn't bother us at all, but just a heads up!
Writing this review right before going to check dates for a summer trip back to Valhalla!!
Horrific. Booked months in advance. They suck at communication. Property mgmt co. Canned responses when they do respond. Thats only the beginning.
Just hours before check in. They said the room was unavailable due to a PEST CONTROL ISSUE. Mind you, this is a river front cabin, i had planned on fishing and swimming with my children. Drove 12 hours straight from Florida loaded w fishing gear ready to roll. Only to get scammed just hours before. In their defense, they did provide me with a 1 bedroom and a pullout cabin.it was not on a river it was a mile off the road from pigeon forge. Thw manager, im assuming offered me a 20% refund (still havent got day 5) and tried to get me to cancel the whole deal. I begrudgingly took the 1 bedroom they named grandmas shack. Anyway it sucked changed the whole vacation. I dont recommend and wouldn't use again
Great place to be just far enough away from the hustle and traffic but close enough to everything you may want to experience. Great location on the river. Cabin has everything you need for you stay. The sound of the River below the cabin is so peaceful and beautiful. The place could use a good deep clean. There was a lot of spider webs throughout the property and the downstairs bed was very uncomfortable but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Beware of the tiny 1 way road to the cabin especially if you are driving a larger vehicle.
The cabin look so much better than in the pictures portraying it. It has a creek right at the base of the cabin perfect for swimming, it’s only 30 min from Gatlinburg and pigeon forge, 45 min from Mt. Laconte and roughly an hour to clingmans dome. In short, it’s perfectly close to any attraction you could want to go too while still being out in the woods. However, there are a few cabins very close by buy so you’re not completely alone.
The cabin was very clean for the most part, there were a few small cob webs here and there and a few of the walls were a little shabby but over all the cabin is very well cared for.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience!

Cabin on the Water
View and surrounding have a relaxing atmosphere. Cabin not clean as it could be with dust and cob webs on plain view of cleaning crem.
This was a short vacation to see if we could check out foliage change in the mountains. Cabin with situated in such a perfect place right on the little pigeon Forge River. Getting there was quite the trick, exciting the first time but eventually it became easy. The cabin itself is well cared for clean nicely laid out. The only thing I would suggest is that they put some salt and pepper in the kitchen and maybe an extra roll of toilet paper. Otherwise the overall stay with my family was fantastic I would highly recommend people going to this place.Pigeon Forge is a beautiful place and such fun to visit.

Cabin was great - but it’s dirty
The pros:
The cabin is lovely. The property is lovely. It’s close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet far away from the traffic of it all. The drive in to the cabin is exciting (or terrifying) with the high, narrow and winding roads.
The cons:
The lack of cleanliness left me uncomfortable for our entire stay.
From discarded trash, litter and food on the property to food from previous renters that hadn’t been swept up to bathroom counters that had someone else’s hair to bedrooms that had a previous renter’s dirty sock left behind to filthy dirty rugs and carpeting, too many details were ignored.
Cleaning fees are paid by each renter and, unfortunately, thorough cleaning between renters is NOT happening. We expected rustic...but not unclean.
I let management know and they offered to send somebody out to clean, but the last thing we wanted was somebody in our cabin, doing a job that somebody should have already done, while we were trying to settle in.
So relaxing and great stay away from the business of life but close enough to actives. The only thing I would beg the owners to get is new mattress! I slept in the couch the entire stay because the mattress had no support . Please - I would love to come back and bring my parents but not unless the mattress have been upgraded! .
Upon arrival, we noticed a musty odor. We wiped things down with Pine Sol. There was dust and cob webs, however appeared to be "clean" and was a fun place to spend a couple days, as it was a beautiful location along a creek.
The cabin is exactly what we were looking for as far as seclusion and size. I would definitely stay again should we return in the future. My husband loved the fact that it is on the Little Pigeon Forge River and stayed at the river most of the time. Great times and place!
My family and I wanted to find a place to stay on a river and this place did not disappoint! We were so thrilled with the location that we didn't feel the need to adventure anywhere else. We spent our time swimming, fishing, playing games, and simply relaxing with each other. Loved, loved, loved this vacation!

Quiet
Refrigerator was not cooling unless something was in freezer, wish we were informed of this also some leaks are ceiling windows.
We loved this cabin. The river was beautiful and we loved sitting on the deck listening to it. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. No WiFi and our phone signal was a little sketchy but we loved checking out of real life for a while. Would definitely recommend!
The property was as advertised, and we had a great time! It’s so tranquil being on the water, and we want to come back in the summer to really take advantage of the water!
