Our stay started with the ease of a keyless entry. It made it all so simple. The house was fabulous. We enjoyed the fire pit every night. As a bunch of ladies, we were thrilled with the bedrooms, upgraded baths and kitchen. Being within walking distance of town made our first day loads of fun. Day 2 we went to Holland, and enjoyed the farmers market. The house is nicely located to enjoy several small towns full of shops and restaurants within a short drive. Melissa was an excellent host and answered my questions and offered recommendations.We had a great time and would happily return when we all get together again.

This is a nice older house with character. The walking distance to town is doable but wouldn’t do it with small children. We enjoyed staying there.

Did you know that the original Ox Bow artists from the Art Institute of Chicago stayed in the house in the early 1900’s? We love the character of The Rivercroft Cottage too!

Location was great- 3 min drive or 15 min walk to downtown area, where we spent a lot of time. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Fenced in yard was great for our dog. Communication was easy with Melissa. Would gladly stay again!

My six cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We travel together each year and this property was a highlight - spacious, very clean, enough beds for everyone, close to entertainment, restaurants and shopping. We commented that it was the best stocked kitchen we had for our several meals in the dining room. Our host was easily reached and helpful with lots of ideas for places to go and to address questions we had. Final coments as we left - AWESOME HOUSE!We all hope to come back someday soon!

The house was very spacious and had so many cute areas that the extended family could do multiple activities (play games, read, watch TV) all in comfort. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes/pans that made our Easter brunch so easy. The location and grounds are wonderful. Highly recommended!

Our group of 5 women really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s house. Great spaces for eating, sleeping and socializing. We loved walking into town and sitting around the backyard fire pit even on a chilly November day. Highly recommend!

Great location and gorgeous home!

We loved this property! It was a short walk into town and the gorgeous home had so much character. Check-in was a breeze and the owner was very helpful and responsive. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Saugatuck.

Gorgeous Property

We stayed at this property for a family reunion during Tulip Time. The property is gorgeous. The house was very comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated and easily accommodated a party of 9 people. It is conveniently located to local attractions. Highly recommend this property.
