Let this relaxing well-equipped beach home be the classic vacation retreat you need. Enjoy the privacy of a wooded setting right next to the ocean (you may even see a deer in the backyard), very close to the local golf course and less then three miles from downtown Long Beach. Enjoy the downtown restaurants, beachfront horseback riding, ice cream shops, antiquing, bakery, movie theater, boardwalk, arcade for the kids and general entertainment.
Enjoy the spaciousness of the house to relax or entertain your group. Delight with an easy private walk to the beach leading out from our large secluded back yard. Have summer cookouts on the deck or just relax and enjoy the ocean views and breeze. Let the kids or dogs play in the spacious back yard, which is encased in bushes and trees for the ultimate in privacy.
The whole group will sleep well with a pillow top king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom, a bunk bed (twin mattress up top and fold out full size futon on the bottom) in the third bedroom, plus a bonus full size futon in the living room. You can have all your friends and family share its ample space with plenty of room for relaxing or entertaining. Use our large expandable dining room table to seat your entire party for a getaway dinner. Curl up with a book and relax on the couch on those cool winter nights. Play games, test your skill on a puzzle or simply relax and read a nice book from our large collection.
Historically known as a fishing and clamming area, the Long Beach Peninsula now also boasts whale watching, fishing charters (inland and ocean), hiking, boating & kayaking. Enjoy easy access to Cape Disappointment in the south end of the peninsula, Ledbetter Point on the north end, Willapa Bay, the Port of Illwaco and Fort Canby State Park in nearby historic Astoria right across the river

Perfect

This was such a perfect getaway for our family. We brought the dog and walked on the beach many times every day. Even though it was clamming season, the beach is so wide and long it still felt like we had it to ourselves. It was a short walk through pines and dunes, and although you can't see the ocean from the property, you can hear it. The yard is surrounded by trees, and the birds and deer made us feel like we were in the mountains. It is nice and quiet at night, yet only a short drive to town and gorgeous lighthouse walks. The home has everything you might need, and was clean and comfortable. Thank you!

The Host was easy to communicate with. Finding the place was easy as the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Access was simple even in the dark. The house is clean and well appointed. We deck and yard are very welcoming. I would easily stay again.

Best Time!!!

This place is amazing. The house is so clean and comfortable. I appreciate that they love dogs as much as we do. Weather was perfect, grilled some oysters on the BBQ, and visited with friends. We will be back !!!

Lovely beach house

Spacious home and well stocked kitchen, just as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay - and the walk to the beach for razor clams. The deck was perfect for afternoon relaxation and reading. Quiet neighborhood. Looks like fun for summer, too. Would stay again!

The Lovely Swan

The "Swan" was a lovely property. It was clean, well furnished, secluded, and away from the hustle and bustle of Long Beach and Ocean Park. I can foresee additional stays in the future. Thank you to the owners for sharing your wonderful home.

Long Beach

Came for the King Tides and spend time with Family. Quiet Area with lots of room to enjoy. Weather was a bit chilly and wet to fully enjoy the outdoor offerings. Private path to beach ( about .3 miles walk) House was nicer and more modern than I expected. There were several doggie blankets to help keep furnishings clean if you bring a pet.Overall great experience.

Wonderful location and home

This property has a great kitchen with all the tools needed for cooking. It's a beautiful walk through the woods to the ocean. Beds are comfortable. The whole place is warm and welcoming.

EXCELLENT/SECLUDED

A fun getaway. We don’t like crowed noisy resorts. This beautiful house has great outdoor space and an enchanting trail to the sea. Everything you might want is available and only minutes to a town with nice restaurant opportunities.

The property was great! The property felt homey and had a nice back yard. The beach was a nice walk away and you could hear the ocean from the porch. The house had a great location close to a lot of nature attractions, town and the shore.

short and sweet

we three generations had a very nice, two-night stay here. the house is nicely designed, with abundant light through windows and skylights, and all the amenities we needed. the house is quiet; neighbors not close and the walk through the trees and shore grass to the ocean is easy and lovely. thank you. i should add that the hosts were really wonderfully accommodating. health and other surprises required our having to reschedule three times over nearly a year, and the process was easy. much appreciated.
