Location is perfect! Great little neighborhood, right near everything. Lots of good space in the house - We could easily have had 6 people. I was able to spread out and work. Enclosed back yard for the dog was a bonus, even though it is a good place to walk him as well. Host most responsive, almost immediately after I'd send a question, he was on it. Lives close by and was able to come to the house to give me a "tech assist."

A very neat, clean, and beautifully decorated house conveniently located near the Galleria and all the places we planned to visit. The host was warm and communicative throughout. I would definitely return to this property on my next trip to Houston.

You may be able to find something cheaper, but you won’t find a better value. We’ve often found it challenging to stay in the Galleria area due to scattered pockets of crime, but this property exceeded our expectations. It’s tucked into a small, quiet neighborhood with limited access and friendly neighbors, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also just a short drive to the heart of the Galleria.The property itself was wonderful—exceptionally comfortable with a cozy, lived-in feel. We stayed during the week of Christmas, and the home was tastefully decorated with holiday décor, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.Check-in was seamless, and the owner was extremely responsive to the few questions we had. We had no issues with 3 people separately streaming shows from the house wi-fi. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was a great bonus. The house was well stocked, and although we didn’t cook during our stay, it was perfect for bringing back meals from nearby restaurants and enjoying them at home.Overall, we highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

This clean & comfortable house has a great location in the Galleria area while also being in a quiet tranquil safe neighborhood. Had everything we needed plus extras like water and snacks. Would definitely book again.

Worked for our dog but not for price

This house is nice and in a safe small neighborhood good for walking our dog. For a couple with a dog, it was overpriced. There was no internet, wifi, cable tv. The owner did quickly respond and give us a $100 credit.

Nightmare Host, Nightmare Home

This vacation rental started out okay the 1st day, but soon turned into a nightmare rental. The plumbing went out in the entire home our second day, leaving no operating rest rooms in the house. I notified the host of the situation, he sent out a maintenance man to complete the work but after a few hours he stated he could not fix the issue, it would have to be repaired by the city. Obviously at this point we can no longer stay in the home with the smell of sewage in one rest room and no operating toilets in the house. Me and the host David would then discuss the next step, he initially offered possibly moving to his son vrbo listed home down the street which would have been fine, but he called me back in 5 mins and stated that home was already booked for the weekend. At this point it's getting pretty late in the evening and we have to start figuring out somewhere else to stay, so we began discussing an appropriate refund. We agreed upon 2 days refund out of the 3 night stay booked, I would still pay for the 1st night, including cleaning fee's, and the vrbo fee's even though the house was only operate 1 day. Then the deceit comes in, I get a message in the middle of the night, he has only refunded part of the money he agreed too. He then stop answering my calls, I spoke with VRBO, he stop answering there calls as well. This man operates with no integrity, he's a liar, and deceitful, I would stay far away from this rental and any other properties you see his name on.

Rental was Friday thru Sunday, Gerald texted at 11am Sat telling me the plumbing issue. I had a plumber there with @1pm. They had left for the day and were going to Texan game. We determined that COH line was plugged up. I called and offer1 night credit, then He says Oh it really backed up the day before (lie) that he needed 2 nights! I called VRBO about what to do and was told I only owed 1 night and that fees and taxes were not reimbursed from VRBO. I owed him $315+$15taxes on my side. I decided to give him $500 for his trouble and found Embassy Suites down the street had a room. I went and checked the house with COH Sunday and inside on tables was pot and house smelled of smoking with no smoking signs in home. I decided to not back charge him for extra cleaning.

Great Family Spot

David and Marian’s home has everything you need and is a mile from the Galleria. Despite the busy hustle and bustle of the area, the neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. Being pet friendly, having a fenced in yard, ample parking, and a hot tub, you really cannot beat it.

Peaceful stay

This was a great home for visiting with my family. Everything was left clean and organized. The back yard was beautiful and a great place for the dogs to run around...location is near restaurants and shopping, too. I hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Checked in few hours early and charged extra $75 — even though we agreed to it seemed a little ridiculous as we left before 11 am and didn’t get money back Seems like it should be a courtesy not an up charge if the place is ready Otherwise place was good location and very nice Would be helpful to have basic instructions for the place on counter such as Wi-Fi password, where garage door opener is, trash pickup etc

Definitely could have been better.

Owners need to invest in pest control. Were several roaches inside the house. Key pad instructions given were incorrect. Owner wanted their landscape people to come to the house during our stay and plant in the backyard. The outdoor space was one of the reasons we chose that property. We told them we didn't want them doing that, so they continued to drive by the property multiple times for the duration of our stay. Other than those issues, the stay was fine
