WE ARE CONSTANTLY UPDATING THIS HOUSE! Blue Haven has 5 Bedrooms, 5 Full Baths and a half bath upstairs. Each Bedroom (except Bunk Room) has a SMART TV, 50" Flat Screen in game-media/room, 50' Flat Screen LCD TV with surround sound in upper Great Room. Dedicated 36" X Box TV in upstairs Great Room! We do not have Cable TV but we have a HD antenna which receives around 50 stations including local ABC, NBC, CBS. You can log into any smart TV with your own Smart TV accounts.

BLUE HAVEN IS A NO SMOKING/NO VAPING HOME ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY! SORRY NO UNDERAGE STUDENT GROUPS ACCEPTED. WE ARE A NO PET HOME BUT NOT A PET FREE HOME SO IF YOU HAVE DOG ALLERGIES THIS MAY NOT BE THE HOME FOR YOU AS OUR 2 LABS VISIT ON THE OFF SEASON.

2 covered carports, Game Room/Theater with 9 FT screen, 50" Flat Screen SMART TV, unlimited Netflix's , full bath, Bike Closet w/6 bikes, 2 Ocean Kayaks, 2 SUP'S, outdoor shower.

Second Level:
2 King Bedrooms w/full baths walk in showers and deck access, TV's, Duo Bunk room w/twin & full with deck access TV, Bunk Room w/4 twins shares a full bath with Duo Bunk room, Spa for 6 on deck, deck extends across entire back of second level.

Top Level:

Gourmet Kitchen with island seating for 3, Dinning area (table for 10), Screened Outdoor Porch eating/sitting are with seating for 6-8, Great Room: FM Stereo-I Pod ready, 50' Flat Screen SMART LCD TV with surround sound, X Box on dedicated 36" TV, Multi CD, Fire Place (not available in season), King Master Bedroom with Serta Memory Foam Mattress, full bath-walk in shower, TV, large deck across entire upstairs back.

LARGE SIDE YARD PATIO WITH SOUND VIEWS, Tiki Hut with gas grill, also charcoal park grill. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GATHER IN THE SHADE OF LIVE OAKS OR FOR YOUNG CHILDREN TO PLAY OR TO WATCH THE SUNSET. Trees around this side yard are lit at night with landscape lighting and café lights!

Our Guest also enjoy access to all Corolla Light amenities (rec center-indoor pool-tennis-weights & cardio rooms-racquetball, Oceanside pool complex, Guarded Beach, Sound-side pool, Trolley service around community) [trolley service in season only and will pick you up at the house next door and drop you off in front of our home].

We suggest you consider optional vacation Travel Insurance from Travel Guard International (or other providers). Coverage includes some medical emergencies and mandatory evacuation for hurricanes when ordered by county emergency management control groups. The premium is approx. 7% of the total of all rents, taxes, and fees and is not included and OPTIONAL on all leases. You can purchase this insurance directly from Travel Guard. We had a GREAT vacay! This house was very comfortable and clean. We had 2 families sharing the house and had plenty of room. Updated bathrooms, great kitchen, comfy beds, etc. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We would stay here again.

Fabulous Stay for 2 Families

We had an amazing time, and Blue Haven was the perfect set up for our group of 10 including 4 adults and 6 teenagers. The local is ideal, the house was well equipped and communication before and throughout the stay with the owner was excellent. I highly recommend if staying with extended family or a large group!

The house was the most beautiful home we have stayed at in 12 years. Bathrooms and kitchen were amazing. Quiet but close enough to the beach. Sound views were wonderful. We would stay there again!

Exceptional Blue Haven

The Blue Haven property provided my family with everything it needed and beyond to ensure a vacation experience that was both comfortable and relaxing. Cozy and quaint

Our family really enjoyed the house and the community. The house was warm and welcoming. The town of Corolla had so much to do and we loved that there was so much to do within walking distance. Definitely one of our favorite rentals and would go back again.

Lovely Corolla Light Home

Nicely appointed home with everything you need in a beach neighborhood. Adults enjoyed the biking around with the kids. The waves were big due to the recent storm but all enjoyed the beach & pool complex. Great place for multigenerations to spend time together!

Wonderful vacation week

Our group had an excellent stay at Blue Haven! We had everything we needed and more. The location was excellent and the resort amenities were an added bonus. Everyone was able to find something to do all of the time. The house was very clean and the space was perfect. Highly recommend!

We are a family of 4, myself Clell, Carol my wife, Ian our son and Kendall our daughter. I am in the furniture and home decor industry owning my own business, Carol is an executive IT consultant at Infrastructure Technology her own firm. We reside in Virginia Beach, two hours from Blue Haven and love the Outer Banks, surfing, being on the beach and in the water. I have been coming to this part of the North Banks since 72 (before there was as road or any homes in Corolla) and never get tired of the place.

Why they chose this property

COROLLA LIGHT RESORT IS A WONDERFUL FAMILY ORIENTED COMMUNITY AND WE HAVE TRIED TO THINK OF EVERYTHING TO MAKE YOUR VACATION GREAT! Our home is located in one of the most unique places on the East Coast! We are next to the Currituck Sound where you can see some of the most amazing sunsets anywhere and within a short walk or bike ride you can be at the Ocean, an Historic Hunt Club (the Whalehead Club), Currituck Lighthouse, Historic Corolla Village, shops & restaurants. Also, the sound-front is community property in our neighborhood with almost 1 mile of waterfront to enjoy, we have a great Oceanfront Pool complex with Life Guarded beaches (in season), tennis courts and a great indoor sports complex with Weight and Cardio rooms. And best of all Highway 12 ends about 1.5 miles north of our home where you can drive on the beach and see wild ponies!! (proper 4 wheel drive vehicles only)

What makes this property unique

We are always improving and investing in Blue Haven to make it a great vacation home and second home for us! It is very well equipped, having visited the OBX for many years before buying our home we have tried to think of everything you will want, plus we use the house ourselves in the off season so we have put more into it than the average rental home.. The 3 King Beds are very comfortable and all furniture very nice. The Theater is a great place to catch up on movies plus there is the 50' Smart TV in the great room upstairs and the gourmet equipped Kitchen. There is a great hot tub for 6 that you will want to spend time in daily! One of the best things of all is to sit in the evenings or early mornings on the outside patio under the live oaks and enjoy the sound views and nature with a cocktail or cup of coffee. Take advantage of the community rec center for a workout or take a bike ride or use our Kayaks or SUP's to enjoy the sound. The list goes on and on so come see for yourself!
