OPEN AND AIRY WITH LOTS OF LIGHT IN A VERY QUIET AREA with BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS AND STARRY NIGHTS. Walk a few steps and find miles of hiking trails and enjoy the beautiful desert sunshine and landscape by day with crisp cool nights in the evening. Come to enjoy the local events nearby. Fully equipped kitchen for the gourmet in you, cook on the outdoor grill, or curl up with the eclectic selection of books and reading material in the home. A unique getaway that we hope you will want to come back to time and again. We are kid and pet friendly. 3 Bedrooms with queen beds. Master bedroom has en-suite bathroom and 2nd bathroom is near the other 2 bedrooms. You will find every kitchen essential needed if you enjoy cooking. Plenty of books, games and TV options. Pac n play provided for travelers with children. Update as of May 1st, garage parking and access will not be available for guests. Plenty of parking in driveway.

Lovely Cove visit

Had a lovely stay in La Quinta cove . Many walks on nearby trails . Leash free parks for my dog were close by . House and neighborhood lovely . Very quiet . House was very comfortable and had everything you might need . It had ready access to all that I love in the area . Highly recommend.

This is my husbands '74 Alfa Romeo GTV. We love vintage cars and traveling. My husband has been to all 7 Continents, I have yet to visit Antarctica. We started coming to the desert when our son moved from LA to take a job in Palm Desert. Upon visiting him in Joshua Tree, we fell in love with the area. We are renting the home now to enjoy time with our grandkids who live near us in the Phoenix area. We are looking foward to the time we can retire and move to LaQuinta full time where we hope to retire. I have a backround in real estate related fields for over 40 years and have been doing vacation rental properties in Arizona and California for over 10 years.

Why they chose this property

The area this home is located is quiet and we love the mountains that surround it. We bought the home for my son, to live in while he worked as adjunct photography professor at College of the Desert. Upon receiving a full tenured position in San Diego, and moving there, we decided to do short term rentals so others get to enjoy the ambiance and beauty of the area.

What makes this property unique

This home has so many unique features such as the vaulted ceiling in the living room, the large windows and the fireplace. We love the french doors and the way the light shines in in the morning. Sitting in the courtyard in the evening to watch the sunset into the mountains has become a favorite evening ritual
