Owner had nicely retained many vintage features of this classic home. Home was well-appointed with anything you would need during your stay. New AC unit worked well in the August days! I was getting quite fond of this place during my week stay. Home even came with a garage for my vehicle.
This older house is one that's been kept nice in a decent and quiet neighborhood. Definitely better than a hotel stay and had all the amenities of a comfortable home, but in the future a pack-n-play/crib would be a good provision for little children, and maybe a highchair, too. The floor creaks could be addressed, but we understand it's an older home. Some other future upgrade suggestions would be more privacy features like room-darkening curtains (good for sleeping in also) and a modern, locking bathroom door handle. Overall it was a good stay and for the price we would rent again.
Kelly is a great host and provided all the details we needed for our stay from coffee to Olive oil, to shaving cream. That was nice. The house was smaller than we hoped but was cozy. It was really nice having a garage as it snowed during our stay. We missed having a dishwasher but it was good to slow down for a change and do them myself.
