Situated within the Mauna Kea Resort, this home is close to two championship golf courses: the newly renovated Mauna Kea Golf Course and Hapuna Golf Course. Furnished in a natural tropical motif with high beam ceilings and lots of windows, this spacious Fairways South home is perfect for experiencing the relaxed Hawaiian lifestyle. Carefully situated, almost every room enjoys spectacular ocean views. The beautiful backyard boasts a built-in pool w/tiled lanai and BBQ.

This unique home offers two private bedroom suites, each with their own bathrooms on opposite sides of the house. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the guest bedroom contains two queen beds.

Beautiful property and location!

This property is exceptional! Gorgeous sunsets each night and access (with additional fee) to the Hapuna and Mauna Kea hotel resort amenities, including beach access with resort towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc., which was extremely handy. Kitchen was extremely well - stocked and overall the property was very clean and well taken care of. We will be back!

Fabulous Sunsets

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home with our son and daughter-in-law. The location and setting of this house is fantastic. We spent many hours on the lanai and in and around the pool. Bertil was exceptionally helpful whenever we had a question. I heartily recommend this home!

Good house, good lanai, good view

This property worked well for us. We stay in the Mauna Kea resort often, usually in the hotel but a few times in other homes or condos. The house would have been amazing 30 years ago! But it is on the older side. The best parts were the lanai area, which is gorgeous with a great view and the kitchen which is very updated and excellent. The biggest negatives were the very cold swimming pool and the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. The property manager did try to help in the cleanliness by washing the windows after we said something which helped some. The bed was fair, not great but not horrible. The overall vibe of the house is older, which is true for much of the Mauna Kea property overall. It could be called rustic. The extra cost for the use of the beach is definitely worth it though this should be included with the house rental. The beach is a 5 to 10 minute drive thru beautiful grounds. If you drink decaf coffee you will need to bring your own for the Keurig machine. The towels, wash cloths, etc are bountiful including really nice beach towels. You will love the large living areas and the views of the ocean. Because the pool is shaded for part of the day and has no heater it is really, really cold to swim in. Be aware of this as it is real! Overall the property worked well for us but might not for everyone.

This property is wonderful. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful view of the ocean. Fully stocked kitchen so we were able to cook anything. Nice grill for cookouts. Deck and pool are great. Will be back!

Fantastic property by all measures. Property itself is styled w/ cool Hawaiian artwork - makes you feel like you are in a retro 70s chic house. Sunset views are stunning. Kai sid a wonderful job communicating from beginning to end of the stay. Strongly recommend.

Absolute heaven

This was a gorgeous, well-maintained home that we never wanted to leave! The view alone is outstanding, perfect for sunsets, and enhanced by all the colorful, mature landscaping. The house itself is huge and airy. Comfortable beds and pillows (rare!), every gadget you could ever need in the kitchen, and well-stocked with the oils and spices necessary for cooking in. Given how expensive restaurants are in Hawaii, we really appreciated the kitchen. We enjoyed the pool and found the temperature to be perfect. We had a question about the AC and later the check-out process, and Kai was immediately responsive both times. We will absolutely hope to rent this house again in the future!! Thank you for sharing your home!

Even more beautiful in person!

The house is just so beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The architecture and art in the home area so special. And the sunsets are epic. Only thing I wish was different is that pool is not heated. So the kids couldn't swim. We went to the beach everyday anyway but would have been nice for them to swim too. As an adult I liked it cool, it was refreshing. Will definitely rent it again.

Wonderful well-equipped home!

Beautifully sited, quiet retreat on Fairways South. Home is exceedingly well equipped with sound, lights, pool towels, and "spices". The property manager is exceedingly responsive and helpful. And as a bonus, lots of cats come to visit and say hello!
