Chalet Timbers - Light and modern sleeps 6 - Stunning views

Timbers is a recently-built (completed June 2016) duplex cottage conveniently located between Perrières ski area and the center of Les Gets village. The cottage itself, built in solid wood in the local style, occupies the first and second floors of the building, providing uninterrupted views across the slopes.

Outside there is a parking area, with one covered area dedicated to the cottage. In the basement there is a lockable, private, boot / ski room. This is equipped with heated boot and glove dryers and a ski / snowboard rack and provides ample room to store bags, skis, etc.

The cottage is accessed through the front door, located on the far side of a flight of steps. There is a separate toilet with a hand basin on the left. Beyond that there is a large laundry room housing the boiler, washing machine, tumble dryer and a further heated glove rack. There is plenty of space here to hang ski jackets / coats and footwear.

To the right of the entrance hall there is a spacious double bedroom with fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a basin, WC, heated towel rail and a bathroom with shower over. This room has views over the garden.

The wide corridor leads to an open-plan kitchen, dining room with seating six table, reception area and lounge. The contemporary L-shaped fitted kitchen is equipped with Bosch appliances (dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, large integrated fridge freezer) and granite work surfaces. There is a flat screen TV with both English and French channels available, an Xbox / DVD player and fast internet throughout the cottage. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed. The lounge area benefits from a Contura wood burning stove and logs are provided for guests. Efficient underfloor heating ensures a comfortable environment during the winter months. The living room has large patio doors that open onto the balcony with wonderful views to the ski-slopes beyond.

On the second floor there are two bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower room. These are equipped with both a power and rain shower, a hand basin, a toilet and a heated towel rail. In these bedrooms, the beds can be set up or two singles, or clipped and zipped together to form superking sized beds.

The Perrieres (about 5 minutes), walking to the village (about 7. 5 minutes) or catching the bus shuttle from the Perrieres stop. In the evening there is a paid shuttle bus available.

For guests, the local ski hire shop is located at the foot of the slopes allowing guests to use their services.

The recently opened Sherpa supermarket is a five-minute walk from Timbers and is open seven days a week.
