WELCOME TO TAN OAK HIDEAWAY. This 3,200 square foot luxurious lodge, completely REMODELED in 2008 is the perfect spot for your next Sunriver vacation.

Enjoy the fabulous open floor plan with brand new gourmet kitchen, dining area and great room connected to a very large deck overlooking the 12th hole of the Woodlands Golf course. The interiors are brand new, containing 3 private Master Suites each with King Beds, nice closets and luxurious bathrooms. Your kids will love the bunk room that comfortably sleeps 6 kids and is just down the hall from the media room which contains a 50” plasma TV, DVD player, game table, and lots of seating for entertaining. In addition, the media room contains a queen murphy bed and fold out queen sleeper that brings the sleeping capacity to 16 comfortably.

You will love the location of this beautiful getaway on Tan Oak Lane. The home overlooks the 12th hole of the Woodlands Golf course, is very close to Fort Rock Park and an easy bike ride to the Sunriver Village Mall, both Sunriver Pools, or the beautiful Sunriver Lodge. The home includes 10 Recreation+ passes allowing access to th SHARC pool, tennis/pickleball courts, boat launches, sledding hill, & disc golf. This home is fantastic for family reunions, golf groups, ski groups, business retreats, and more!

SUNRIVER has three championship golf courses, many tennis and pickleball courts, 30 miles of paved bicycle paths, a wonderful swimming facility which includes 2 watersides and a lazy river, riding stables, white-water rafting, canoeing, fishing in the famous Deschutes River, and so much more! Sunriver is located only 15 minutes from Mount Bachelor, one of the top ski destinations in America.

Your kids will love the bunk room that comfortably sleeps 6 kids and is just down the hall from the media room which contains a large flatscreen TV, DVD player, game table, and lots of seating for entertaining. The room functions as media / family room by day, 5th bedroom at night, with 2 closing doors for complete privacy. It contains a queen murphy bed and fold out queen sleeper that brings the sleeping capacity to 16 comfortably. Do note though that the only TV is located in this room.

This house was fantastic for hosting 3 families (12 total) over the Thanksgiving holiday. The three primary suites, which had their own full bathrooms, were great for each family. There was plenty of space for the kids and adults. So much to do with the hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, Sharc passes, game closet and the Xbox. The only complaint was the key lock box was not located as described. A door code would’ve been more ideal especially for three separate families. A TV in the main upstairs living room would’ve been nice since we spent so much time upstairs socializing. We also couldn’t access live tv downstairs because of the choice of tv service.

We stayed here with three families of 4 (6 kids ages 5-7). The set-up (three king suites and two kids rooms) was perfect for our needs and there was plenty of space for the kids and adults to hang out in separate places. Everyone was really happy with the house and we will hopefully be doing this trip again next year!

Very good common areas for extended family activity. Three master suites plus bunk room was well suited to having three family units with young children. The bunk room was small and without AC but the five kids made it work just fine. Another Great Visit

This is our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it even more the second time around. Tan Oak is a beautiful centrally located street that is close to Fort Rock Park. Being located on the Woodlands golf course is also a huge plus. The three master bedrooms were perfect for our family and the home is well stocked with all the important amenities (ping pong, bikes, basketball hoop, etc.). We also loved the 10 SHARC passes that come with the home and we took full advantage of the free access to the private boat launch/take out at the Sunriver Marina.

We had a great time staying in this property in Sunriver. The location on the golf course was nice even in December because we could get out there to snowshoe, build snowmen, and play around. The house itself easily accommodated our group of 8 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 smalls. There were plenty of getaway spaces and play spaces, including the ping-pong table in the garage. It was clean and well-appointed, and the owner was very responsive during the rental process.

We vacationed with a couple of other families and this place was perfect. The king suites made it nice for everyone to have their own space and, with the open layout, there was plenty of room for everyone to interact and socialize comfortably. The older kids loved that they had their own space to hang out downstairs. The SHARC passes were a plus as the center is just over a mile from from the house and easy to walk or bike to (though there were only 2 bikes). The house is clean and in beautiful condition. We will definitely stay here again!

Christmas 2017

This was the second time we have stayed in this home for Christmas with our adult children and grandson. There is lots of space to hang together and room to relax quietly. The open spaces from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room were great for us to cook, talk, and interact without getting in each other’s way. The House was in great condition and was just as it was pictured. We will definitely stay here again.

Sunriver holds a special place in our heart because owner Jim Neuburger visited every year as a child/teen. When we started a family of our own we continued the tradition, bringing our 3 kids for a few weeks every summer. We bought a home in Sunriver in 1999 and loved entertaining friends and family there every summer. In 2006 we upgraded to this home on Tan Oak and completely gutted/remodeled in order to provide 3 identical master suites making the home perfectly suited for multiple families with lots of kids. We continue to visit every summer (+ ski season) and share the home the remainder of the year.

Why they chose this property

This home is among the higher-end properties within Sunriver. It's position on the Woodland golf course provides a spectacular view and a really cool vibe. When we play the course we're able to pop in for a snack or beverage when we reach the 12th hole - or just grab the players who decided to catch a little extra sleep :)
Jim and Amy make regular maintenance trips from Seattle to focus on the house, take care of odds & ends, make upgrades/enhancements and just keep the house in tip-top shape. We always think of amenities from the guest's perspective and keep their experience in mind. Vacation should be a fun, easy, and relaxing experience!

What makes this property unique

The 3 nearly identical master suites with private bathrooms make this home so easy and comfortable for multiple families. Housing multiple sets of adults in a rental home can be a challenge with someone always feeling compromised. We have eliminated this problem so everyone can be ultra-comfortable and feel like a grown-up!
