This large, 3 bedroom villa is the most spectacular in the popular Anfi Tauro complex set in the quiet and idyllic Tauro valley. It is the closest villa to the sea with the best views, particularly the sunsets. Hop in the new hot tub and enjoy the amazing sunsets.

Imagine waking up to the sounds of tweeting birds as the sun rises over the golf course beside the villa. Take a dip in the private heated swimming pool then relax in the beautiful garden with uninterrupted views of the sea. When you are up for it, brew some coffee and have breakfast in the garden. Plenty of time for golfing or sunbathing later.

The unique beauty of Villa Carmela is it is the closest villa to the sea in the whole complex and is not overlooked so offers uninterrupted views and complete privacy.

The garden gets the sun almost for the entire day so if sun worship is your goal it is perfect. However, if you prefer the shade we have plenty of outdoor space that is covered and shady. You will find fantastic uninterrupted views over the Atlantic ocean and the 4th green of the golf course.

We provide free Wi-Fi internet access and we have a media box that provides all UK and Scandinavian TV channels.

There are large picture windows and full length sliding doors that afford exceptional sea and golf views from inside the property.

There is a stunning garden with a webber gas BBQ, a private heated pool and an outside shower....

Air-conditioning installed throughout villa including a "quiet" mode for sleeping. The whole villa has recently been upgraded and refurbished at substantial cost so it really is the best villa in Anfi Tauro.

In the master ensuite bathroom there is also a fantastic jacuzzi bath so you can really relax and get into holiday mode.

Highest quality comfortable bedding and mattresses so you can fully relax and enjoy a great nights sleep.

The complex also has 2 common swimming pools which guests have access to (one which is heated).

There is also a large Spar supermarket and a nice grill restaurant next door - Tauro Grill. They are well renowned for their BBQ's.

Anfi Tauro is the perfect place to kick back and relax with family and friends.

It is perfect for families and we can provide baby cot, high chair and push buggy for the kids :-)

We highly recommend renting a car for your stay as there is so much to explore on this fantastic island. It is so much more than a beach and sun destination and if you take a trip up the mountains you will have amazing views of the volcanic landscape. You can eat in cave restaurants and enjoy traditional Canarian cuisine away from the tourist traps. There is room for 2 cars to park right outside the front door.

But if you want to explore more then we can recommend Palmitos Park, Aqualand, Angry Birds Park, Sioux City and many other attractions. Afrikat is the best boat trip to go on and is a great day out. We provide loads of information to our guests about activities, restaurants and tours through our detailed information pack that we send to all guests.

Very comfortable stay

Very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. Very peaceful area, but near to facilities such as restaurants and beaches a short drive away. Would recommend for families with small children as garden is safe and enclosed & on one level.

Holiday at Gerards villa

Wonderful villa and location.

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Carmella.We found the villa (inside and out) to be exactly as advertised and as other guests have described...very clean and comfortable.Communication with Gerard was first class and he clearly goes the extra mile to ensure guests can fully enjoy their stay not just when at the villa but lots of information to explore the rest of the island.Thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of staying at Villa Carmela- just do it!

We had a great stay, the property was great for us, Ger was a great host, both prior to our stay and especially taking time to welcome us and show us around the villa. Jacuzzi was great, as were the hot showers and Uk TV channels.

Villa was perfect . Plenty of room indoor and out for 7 of us. Great views from the garden. Hot tub a lovely touch. Good restaurant and Spar shop within 5 min walking distance. The villa was very clean and all amenities were as described. Villa a short taxi ride to Peurto Rico which has a good shopping centre and plenty of restaurants. A lovely place to stay.

A Perfect 5 star Holiday

Villa Carmela is amazing. It’s in a superb location with uninterrupted views over the golf course and the sea. It is a spacious, stunning and immaculate property and very well equipped. There is a lovely heated pool, hot tub and a superb Weber barbecue. There is a fantastic dining area with sliding doors that brings the outside in. Gerard was the perfect host and a very likeable guy and makes a great effort to ensure his guests have a great stay. Would definitely recommend Villa Carmela and we will definitely be back.

Super villa

Villa Carmela is a great holiday home in a lovely location. Gerard was a joy to deal with throughout the booking process, met us on arrival and then helped with our departure. The villa is very spacious inside and out. It is very clean and has all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. The shop and restaurant on-site are great and very useful. Taxis are cheap and easy to get to go anywhere you need to. The villa captures the sun all day and the pool and hot-tub are great to cool down in. Would thoroughly recommend.

A fantastic villa

Villa Carmela provided us with a dream holiday. The location was perfect - quiet and giving lovely views over the golf course to the sea. The interior was spacious , spotless and furnished to a very high standard. The heated pool is surrounded by grass making it a very safe place for the elderly and the young - no slippery tiles. Tauro Grill - a five minute walk - serves excellent food with efficient and friendly staff. Amadores beach - a five minute drive offers a choice of Restaurants- Blue Beach being our favorite. Having rented many villas through the years Villa Carmela was definitely the best . We look forward to returning.

Lovey, relaxing week in a great villla

We had a great week (family of 4) at Villa Carmela. It is the best villa in a super location on a wonderful golf course. Inside fantastic, spacious living areas, very comfy en-suite bedrooms and great TV/video on demand. Lots of nice touches around the property. Outside a good sized garden with plenty of room for 5 loungers, a fun warm pool, great views out to sea over the golf course, and sun from 10am to 7pm (February). You need a car. Recommend eating at the local Tauro Grill (friendly and good value). Also good fun at the nearby par 3 golf course. Communication with the owner and local help was fantastic. We are already talking about returning

A lovely property with all we needed for a three generation holiday

The property is well maintained and equipped. For our family of grandparents, parents and two small boys, it was ideal. The small pool, with a great supply of pool toys, was just right for our four year old. We loved Tauro beach, which is accessible on foot. The Bar Pio Pio there is good for drinks and a tapas lunch. With a short drive, we could reach other, more commercial beaches as well as good supermarkets. Palmitos Park is an excellent day trip. Our only very minor complaint is about the house description. There was no mention in advance of the restrictions on the use of the hot tub - no children and no drinks! However, this is a small point, given the many advantages of the villa.

High quality and spacious villa, ideally located

Villa Carmela is almost certainly the best of various villas we have rented over the years. Ideally located at the end of a run of smart villas within the Anfi Tauro golf complex, it is totally private and has uninterrupted views across the course to the sea beyond. The rooms are all large and well furnished, the air-con units are both effective and quiet, and the whole villa is very well equipped indeed. Perhaps the garden pool is a little smaller than we're used to but then there's a much larger shared pool within 100m walk. It's just 5 mins drive both to a super new Mercadano supermarket and also to the excellent beach and restaurants at Amadores. The fast coast road makes exploring the whole island very easy and, whilst perhaps not as attractive overall as Lanzarote, we found some great sights to explore. Highly recommended.

Great villa, just what we needed

We stayed here in mid October 2017 and loved it. The villa is great, very spacious living area and kitchen. The villa has so much to offer. Our family had five adults and two children (aged 6 and 4). Despite having seven of us staying at the villa there was plenty of space. The pictures provided on the site are a true reflection of the villa. The amenities at the villa are really good, just like a home from home. Lots of different crockery and kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Ger is great in both the lead up to your stay and also during your stay. A lot of thought has been given to make your stay enjoyable and easy. Lovely touch to arrive with some milk and a few other groceries waiting in the fridge for us. The kids loved the pool and it is heated and warm. They also loved the crazy golf by Amadores beach. Villa is in good location and Puerto Mogán is lovely for dinner with lots of options of restaurants. Highly recommended. Thanks Ger.

Lovely slice of paradise.

Our family of 6 adults just completed a holiday at Villa Carmela in Anfi Tauro in early January. It was a wonderful place to stay; truly ideal for us to enjoy a restful, yet activity-filled vacation. The villa is comfortable and spacious, so it is easy to find quiet time on an individual basis, while being designed so there are great gathering spaces too. The villa has a large kitchen with full-sized fridge/freezer, grill, and dishwasher so that dinners in are quite manageable. The location provides a quick walk to Tauro beach, which currently has no changing facilities, but that’s not a problem as it is easy to get back and forth to the villa. On a positive note, however, the beach is not crowded with shops and people so spreading out a towel for a session in the sun and surf is more private than on other beaches in the area. Most importantly, Gerard was a wonderful host, as others have said. He was communicative from the very first and remained in touch as we finished our stay and headed home. He provided great, helpful information and made us feel very much at home in the villa. I highly recommend a stay on this lovely, diverse island in this convenient and comfortable location!

Una auténtica maravilla.

El trato con Gerard es estupendo, el es familiar, servicial, cercano y está atento a todo detalle. La casa es enorme, tiene todas las comodidades y las vistas y la piscina y el jacuzzi son estupendos. La piscina es pequeña, no muy profunda, pero si vas con niños, es una garantía de seguridad, y cumple su papel refrescante. Bien comunicada y cerca, en coche, de zonas comerciales; pero aislada del ruido y en una zona privada y con vigilancia. Volveremos, sin duda.

Gerald was very helpful to circumvent the issues with the flight from Madrid to Gran Canaria.

Everything was according to our expectations. Gerald was very helpful, when we needed to fill in the form required by the local Madrid goverment. He stayed always in close contact with us by phone, whatsApp or mail.

But I am based in Gran Canaria most of the time these days. I have been doing this successfully for many years and take great time and care with my properties. I also am an excellent communicator and keep in touch with all my guests on a regular basis, before during and after their stay.

I get fantastic reviews because the properties are amazing and I add the personal touch to the whole process.

I also love to travel and I have been to so many amazing places but still haven't found a place that can rival Gran Canaria. The weather is perfect for the WHOLE year and there are so many interesting places to visit and explore. It's also the perfect destination for being healthy and getting outside to get some exercise and inhale clean air. Driving up the mountains is always a great day out and they have great history. Most of the towns have their own museum if you want to know more.

The beaches are fantastic but I do love heading up the mountains to an open air farmers market, sipping a "Cortado Largo" coffee and just listening to the sound of nature. Oh, and do not forget the amazing star show every night..... just look up......and happy enjoy.

When we are not staying there, it's available to rent but we ask all our guests to treat the villa like your own home :-)
