This is not a party house. We keep a private security company doing rounds twice a day through all of our properties. Guests in breach of their contract / house rules / disrespecting neighbors will be evicted immediately, forfeiting their booking and security deposit. The house is equipped with security cameras monitoring the front door, as well as noiseaware sensors to avoid and notify us of any unauthorized events that would disturb the neighbors going against our house rules.

Sunset Cliffs is a neighborhood in the Point Loma community of San Diego, California. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, Ocean Beach on the north, Catalina Blvd. and Santa Barbara St. on the east, and Sunset Cliffs Natural Park on the south. The area is named for the sheer cliffs which border the ocean. There are surfing spots below the cliffs. The cliffside trails are popular for walking and for watching the sunset. The main street of the area is Sunset Cliffs Blvd. The neighborhood is almost entirely residential and a small commercial strip is found along the northern end of Sunset Cliffs Blvd. running into Ocean Beach.
Depending on your itinerary while in town, you can either rent a car or many guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes.

Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows: • Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater. • 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater. • More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate. To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.
Additional Cleaning Policy Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g., photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency.

We really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of four with two teenage daughters, and we stayed here over Christmas break. Fortunately, the weather cooperated. The house was in impeccable shape and clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet street and close to everything and everyone we wanted to see. I would definitely rent here again. My family loved it. Thanks!
This house is excellent. There were four of us on a quick business trip, had clients over one night and enjoyed the fireplace out back.Linens, kitchenware and all the amenities were great and appreciated.Plenty of ice in the freezer.These hosts thought of everything.Block and a half from an amazing view and surf as well.All around an A.Thank you for having us,Walt
Our stay at this beautiful home for a family vacation was awesome. Spacious, the location was perfect and the neighborhood was nice. The backyard was private and we had fun just hanging in the backyard during the evening bbq-ing and hanging around the fire pit. Close to Ocean beach and blocks from Sunset Cliff Beaches. Would definitely stay there again.
The property was perfect for our family. We were there to attend my grandsons wedding. The house was perfect for coming together as a group and also retreating to yourself. This was my first time using Verb and admit I was a little nervous about it. It was perfect.
Beautiful Property in great, quiet neighborhood. We'd stay here again for sure. There is no AC but it was hot out in June and we still didn't need it with the excellent ocean breezes.
House was very clean and spacious and modern. It was easily large enough to accommodate our group of 8, both for sleeping areas, just hanging out, etc. Close to the shore, but on a fairly quiet street. We have given a few minor suggestions to the management to enhance the stay of those in the future.
While the house is large enough for bigger groups, noise tends to carry a bit in the house. If you have some in the group looking to get away from the noise of others, that can be hard to do.
The house is well located and an easy walk to the cliffs overlooking the water. It is about a mile from Ocean Beach, which is perfect for morning coffee or lunch. The house is spacious and accommodated our family, with four adult children. We were very disappointed, however, that the fire pit was not operable and/or is not available to guests. We noted our disappointment upon arrival, as this was one of the major attractions for us (since we were coming in the winter) and prominently displayed in the pictures pitching the property. Despite several notes regarding this during the week, the host ignored the request for an adjustment. After we had left, they basically said 'too bad.'
My family met here for 8 nights over Thanksgiving week & thoroughly enjoyed the house. The backyard space, proximity to restaurants, stores, and airport were highlights for us. We traveled with a 2 year old & were pleased to have “toddler” amenities provided too. The kitchen had everything we needed & Door Dash had easy delivery from some fun places. The sunset over cliffs was a 5 minute walk or seen from top balcony & was icing on the cake!!
This is great property for spending time at Sunset Cliffs. The house is beautifully furnished with plenty of room for our family of 6. I highly recommend the property!
The house is beautiful and in a great location. However, there are many little things throughout the house that need fixing or were not installed properly. Thankfully we spent most of our time out of the house but had we spend more time or decided to cook it would have been a bit of a problem. Also, fireplace as cited on the listing was a major selling point for us choosing this house and were told last minute that we were not allowed to use. Also, it would have been nice to be able to use the garage. The fridge if not in the correct position does not close which ruined most of our food.
Beach views from the master bedroom, very modern, and beautiful backyard. Close to the beach as well as shops. The house was clean, and ready for immediate use. The only negative is that there is no AC. It is clearly stated in the description so we knew that going in. What we didn't know is how hot, and humid the house would be. There are plenty of windows to open to catch a breeze. We enjoyed our stay
Our stay at this lovely home was perfect. This property has an amazing view of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The pictures online do not do this property justice. It is much more beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the outside Hardscaping and playing board games. This was a five star experience.
