All I can say is WOW! This property and the views are absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. This house was perfect for our girls trip and came stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were nice and communicative, and even did a tour of this special house when we arrived which was very helpful. I’ll be thinking about this property for a while and can’t wait to visit again someday.

We stayed 15 days. Upon arrival we were given a thorough tour. The daytime views of the city were incredible but the nighttime views were breathtaking. The hosts were available to answer any questions. This remodeled mid-century modern house was a great place to visit with family I would rent this property again.

The amazing view is the highlight of this property. It is very dated, there were plastic covers on the living room furniture that were worn and dirty to include the stained pillow covers. It was very difficult to want to sit on the furniture and sleep on the beds; both did not give a clean sanitary appearance or feel. The response to our concerns really made the difference. Kellie was very apologetic and quick to respond in the best way possible to remedy what time and resources permitted.

Cindy, This house is not dated It is a Mid Century Modern home designed by a highly regarded Architect, The contents are antiques and are of the highest and finest quality. This is the first time that the cleanliness of the property has been brought into question as you have described it. And although we disagree with your assessment we are glad to hear that our 5 star cleaning crew responded to your specific needs in a prompt manner. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking; the design and furnishings and artwork were inspired; the gardens were exquisite; the options for sitting/gathering in small groups were unbelievable! So quiet at night; ample parking; great caretaking by Bruce; accessible to everything one could need in terms of retail. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. It was too short to really spend time admiring their carefully curated contents. The home, views and garden were spectacular! It was in a great neighborhood with easy access to where we were going. The only thing that was off was the descriptions of beds in bedrooms. They did not have the amount of beds shown in the listing.

Best view! Gorgeous sitting room and deck with fabulous views. Property easily accommodates a large family. This was our second stay in this home. The location brings us back. It is an easy walk down to Shelter Island restaurants.

We could not have picked a better place to stay for my family. Communication was excellent. Location was beyond excellent. The house was an adventure in itself. The front garden is beautiful. Every time I walked onto the deck, I felt like I was in a movie. You will not be disappointed.

Can’t say enough about this amazing home. Every day we noticed something new and special. The outdoor space did not disappoint. We spent more time there than inside. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and location was perfect.
