This is my second time staying at this beautiful cottage. The attention to detail is very impressive and the location is second to none. I enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, coffee and cocktails on the back porch and relaxing in front of the fireplace.

Everything about this place is wonderful. A beautiful setting, and inside is warm and welcoming. Kitchen is set up nicely with lots of supplies and cookware. Beds are very comfortable. The fireplace is great in the cooler weather we had during our stay. On top of all that, the host is A. We are already planning our return trip!We enjoyed our time relaxing and exploring the area.

Peaceful Tryon cottage

We all enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage on a quiet, tree filled lane in Tryon. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful.

Charming property and town

Such a nice, peaceful home. Tryon is a cute (lively) little town and the equestrian center is something to see. Home is very well arranged and comfy beds which is very important for me traveling with my 82 yo mother. Recommend if you're looking for a low key gettaway.

Amazing place! Location is perfect… Above town on a small road in a forest, but still walkable to everythingTryon has to offer. The house has so much character is perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed. The screened in porch was an added bonus, great place to spend the evening. House was very communicative and very easy to work with!

Beautiful House

This listing is the best VRBO by far we have ever rented. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and quaint. The owner is an absolute gem and was wonderful in communications. Would highly recommend this house. You won’t be disappointed.

Cozy cottage getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. Set in a beautiful woodsy location with the sounds of nature everywhere. Even saw 6 deer on an evening walk.Near downtown Tryon, we walked into town many times (breakfast, dinner, wine hour) - perfect location.The house was quaintly decorated and fully stocked with everything you needed for your stay. Loved the screen porch and especially the cozy sunroom which was perfect for relaxing with early morning coffee and sunshine.Can’t wait to come back again.

Charming and comfortable with ideal location

Stayed here over Christmas holidays with family. Four of us were very comfortable in the cozy space. Loved the fireplace and sunroom. Didn’t get a chance to use the porch due to chilly temperatures but it’s an added bonus! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Location is great for walking into town.

Absolutely Charming!

This historic cottage was the perfect place to get away and unwind for a few days with my husband and another couple. The beds were comfy and every detail of this cottage makes you want to stay longer. You can tell the owner put a lot of time and love into this place. I can’t wait to come back and stay again! Wonderful Hosts

Our dog Scout had to have emergency surgery the day before we arrived. The surgery made us a bit late getting to Tryon. The hosts were not only helpful with the delay in arrival but very sympathetic, checking on us and Scout frequently, they also gave us a bottle of wine. Love this property and the hosts are wonderful!

Weekend Getaway

Perfect charming cottage for our long weekend getaway in Tryon. Peaceful, quiet setting yet close and convenient to downtown and surrounding areas. Mornings spent enjoying yoga on the back screened porch while listening to sounds of rain trickle down from the tree leaves. The cozy sunroom/study armchair is an ideal spot to curl up with an enjoyable book. Fireplace in living room great for cool evenings. Ideal well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for 3 Adult guests

Our first time to Tryon visiting family. The cottage was perfect for husband/wife and young adult son. Having two bathrooms is mandatory. We enjoyed staying in one night and cooking dinner and bought everything from the well stocked grocery store a 5 min drive. It was nice to have the many spices/oils already in the pantry. Great location to downtown restaurants, many to choose. My favorite room was the sunroom.
