It was pretty clean. linens, floors, kitchen and bathroom s were clean. It could use a good dusting and deep cleaning. The big problem was there were no curtains in the bedrooms except one. Woken up at 530am was not nice. Also no washer and dryer and no shampoo.
Wow! This is a gorgeous house in a gorgeous location with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The house was clean and had everything that we might possibly need during our stay. I highly recommend staying here and hope that I can stay again soon.
The house was comfortable and very clean. Decor was fun to look at. View was nice. A 2- minute walk to the boat launch had an even better view. The owner offered a gorgeous, locally harvested salmon at a reasonable price that was truly our best meal of the trip.
House was amazing! Spacious, clean and great private location. The front porch was perfect for evening drinks and morning coffee, while enjoying a serene view of the lake. Enjoyed a nice dinner at the Salmon House on the other side of the lake. We only stayed one night during our trip to the Olympic Peninsula but we will be back.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. There was so much space for all of us and we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the evening admiring the view and the stars. We would definitely return.
The property was beautifully situated a row back from the lake with easy access, loads of comfort, and the intense beauty of the area. Look forward to going back.
Our family loved this property! Clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our family. We loved the deck and close access to the lake.
Great base for lots of activities in the surrounding area. The lake is beautiful, quinault rainforest, ocean not too far away and amazing waterfalls/swim holes if you're willing to drive some down forest roads!
The house was immaculately clean and very nicely decorated. It was also larger than I expected, with plenty of room for 8 people. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, from which you can swim or launch a kayak or a paddle board. We love Lake Quinault and the nearby rainforest.
We have rented from this owner in the padt, and she is great to work with. She has 3 properties in Amanda Park, WA, 2 are on the lake, 1 across the gravel road. All 3 are nice. We will continue to rent from her!
The inside of the cabin was clean, nice and very comfortable, with great lounge space and kitchen area. A critic was that the outside heater did not work, nor did the inside fireplace. Also the outlets near the master bed didn't work (couldn't charge our phones there) and the TV in the master also did not work. Otherwise it was a comfortable cabin, very well stocked.

Hello, thank you for the input.I will take a look at the heater.Could be that the propane was out.And we have an extra one under the stairs to swap out for guests to use. Also, possibly the gfi breaker had tripped, so everything seems to be working now.Sorry about that experience
We loved this cabin by the Lake! For those of us who love to camp, this was a dream place. We could feel like we were camping and still have the comforts of home. The kids loved kayaking in the lake, and playing amongst the driftwood. We enjoyed campfires, kayaking, exploring all the driftwood, hikes in the rainforest and tide pooling at the ocean.
Us FunGals came together for a 3 night stay at this beautiful property and we’re just wowed as we entered the home. We came to Quinault to host the Quinault Rainforest Mushroom Festival at the Lake Quinault School. Our stay was so convenient, comfy, serene, peaceful! We absolutely fell in love with this property. We look forward to coming back October 2025.
This is one of the nicest VRBOs we've been in, and the location can't be beat. Our group enjoyed the kayaks and walking down to the lake often. The sport court in the backyard and fire pit were also great fun for the kids. We all were able to gather together for movie night (Twilight, of course) with plenty of living room seating. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Our large group loved our stay!
We enjoyed our stay at Brenda's very clean and comfortable home. We rented two properties so we had convenient access to the lake for kayaking and watching wildlife (eagles!). The kitchen was very well equipped, and the bathrooms sparkling. The bed configuration allowed us to have grandkids in one room, which they loved. We were out and about most of the time we were at Lake Quinault so it was especially nice to return to such a tranquil location.
The House is stunning! Very spacious living room area, 3 bedrooms to distribute your party to and a kitchen that has almost all tools available that you might need. Though being in the second row you are very close to the lake and you see the lake and the mountains on the south side. It takes just 5 mins from the house to reach the lake directly. You have access to the lake for swimming and/or lauchning your kayak (2 are on-site). Around there you can visit many things like the quinault rain forrest and the beaches on the pacific coast. Bring food stuff with you - the small convenience stores around the lake have a few things but it is better you bring your fresh produce with you for the time you plan to stay there (as you would expect there is a big fridge in the kitchen).Overall, our stay was quite an experience, the house is so beautiful and the surrounding is very unique!

Thank you! I'm so glad that you embraced your visit to our nestle of the woods..... We love to share our place.
The home was very nice and clean. I dont like that it came up on VRBO as lake front, because it is not. There is access to the lake just a bit down the road. But I was under the impression it was lake front, guess I should have read more on it. My fault. But very beautiful home, very clean, and it was very hot when we stayed and they did put in a Portable AC unit!! Thanks. I will say getting directions from your phone or GPS is horrible. Im glad I had wrote directions down! Phone or GPS says road closed, it is not. and no phone service on the road so download a map if need be.

Hello i'm glad you enjoyed timber haven! I'm sorry that it came up late front. I will have to search the site to see how I could fix that. Always good to have directions on hand and not rely on cell service or phone service. So i'm glad you did that. There is really good cell service with certain carriers. I know verizon it works well.... And there is good internet at the houses .starlink. again, so glad you enjoyed the area and our home
Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Lake Quinault vacation home. The house was larger than expected and even nicer than the pictures suggested. We found ourselves wishing we had booked a longer stay at the house. Located on the north side of the lake, it is well situated for hikes at the Quinault rainforest and vicinity and not too far from the beaches or Hoh rainforest for day trips. The kitchen is well equipped. There was plenty of water pressure in the showers and the beds were very comfortable. The only problem we had was there was no internet connection at all while we were there. Connection to cellular data through AT&T was also very spotty in the area, so we found ourselves disconnected for a few days. If you absolutely need an internet connection it is available at the local library, but double check about whether the problem with the house internet has been fixed if you need a reliable local connection.
The house was spacious. The house is near the lake but a house in front blocks most of the view. The kitchen was well equipped and a great place to cook. The bath amenities are minimal (e.g., no body lotion). There is no laundry facility. The host was not very accessible nor helpful. The host expects a lot of clean-up, which is surprising considering the cost of the rental and the fact that we are paying for cleaning. You will need to remove sheets, put them in a particular spot etc. I was also surprised at the huge deposit when booking (I got my deposit back). Overall, for the amount charged per night, I would have expected better.
