This was our 4th year returning to the Cottage at Crystal Lake. We had a fantastic time as always. The cottage is basic but had everything we needed. It is very comfortable and cozy and the price cannot be beat. We really appreciated the addition of internet this year!! The views are stunning from the upper deck and the lower deck. Morning coffee on the deck or down on the little fishing dock were my favorite. It is so peaceful and calm.Crystal Lake is clean, clear, and warm. The little sandy beach and swimming dock are perfect for afternoons swimming. Lake Michigan had turned over and was too cold to swim in so we were extra happy to have the lake at the cottage to swim in. There is a kayak and it was wonderful to get out for a sunrise kayak around the lake. There is so much to do withing 30-45 minutes. We spent time at Silver Lake getting ice cream (The Other Place is the best), hiking the dunes, and checking out the shops. We spent a lot of time up in Ludington having beach days and enjoying the town. Pentwater is close by and great too.Ardith is excellent host and great at communicating. Thank you so much! We can't wait to be back next year!

Beautiful views and cozy accomodations

This was our second stay and it was wonderful as always. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The views from the upper and lower decks are amazing. The water was warm and crystal clear. We had a great time fishing off the dock and swimming off the diving dock. The cottage is only about 20 minutes to Silver Lake sand dunes, Little Sable Point, and Pentwater. Lots to do! Thanks again and we hope to be back next year!

The cottage was awesome. I loved the fact that it seemed like you were in the middle of no where.

I loved all of it except for no fans or air. We had two very uncomfortable nights but the other 12 were great.

Pleased

We had a wonderful stay. We were on the deck the majority of the time. We lost power one of the nights for a few hours and your wonderful neighbor came and checked on us. With all of us being in our 60’s, it was challenging to get down to the water, but a beautiful lake. The beds could use new mattress’s and the couches could be replaced but outside of that it really is a nice and cozy place with beautiful view’s. Thank-you for sharing it with us !
