Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Stop at Craig’s Cruisers in Silver Lake and enjoy a host of activities there as well. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail that will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area.
