Lovely quiet Villa, heated pool, sea view to St Tropez, 5 doubles

Gulf Stream Villa overlooks the sea towards St Tropez from a hill above Les Issambres on the coast near Sainte Maxime. The Villa is Ideal for families and friends with a heated swimming pool.

St TROPEZ
It takes 15 minutes by ferry to the village of St Tropez.
The villa:
Set on two levels: the master bedroom, dining room, sitting room and kitchen are on the upper floor with a large exterior dining patio overlooking the ocean and hills to the South West.
The 4 additional double bedrooms are on the ground floor overlooking the pool and garden.

Bedrooms:
There are 4 doubles and one twin bedroom, all with: en-suite shower rooms (one has a bath), air-conditioning, and french doors onto the garden.

The villa has the 4 star French classification.

POOL:
The large, private, HEATED, salt water swimming pool, 10m x 4m, overlooks the bay. There is a "Chat and Chill" poolside bar with a fridge, sink, plastic wine glasses and power for your Bluetooth speaker.

PATIO:
The villa has interior and exterior dining for 10 and truly magnificent views of the gulf of St Tropez and the Mediterranean sea. You, your family and friends will have a very peaceful holiday here. No one overlooks Gulf Stream.

This is our family holiday home. It is our shabby chic.It is not a new build hotel. It is Provençal.

Facilities:
We provide white cotton bed linen and 2 towels per guest. There is private parking for 2 cars and on street parking for 2 more.

The modern granite and steel kitchen has ample cutlery and white china for 12. A large Samsung fridge and freezer, an ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and Smeg cooker and 2 types of coffee machine: filter and capsules (bring Nespresso capsules).

The interior dining room has a marble and glass table for 10.

The spacious sitting room has 3 shabby Chic leather sofas with a 52 inch flat screen TV, a sound bar, with free to view UK TV, and film streaming through Apple TV for Netflicks, Amazon Prime, Disney + etc.
There is Wi-fi through out the villa.

We have good mobile phone reception.

The villa has two BBQs: one is a marble and steel Griddle BBQ, gaz powered. The other is a steel roll top Gaz BBQ on the dining terrace. (The gaz bottles are sold in the village).

We provide an English and German fiction book library and a DVD Film library with the Harry Potter series, the Bond movie series, Pixar and Disney movies and some classic box sets: Homeland etc.

The first floor patio runs the breadth of the villa and has a large exterior dining table seating 10, with a beautiful view of the bay and 4 whicker armchairs for after dinner brandies.

Families of 12:
There is a double sofa bed for 2 more guests if you have families with kids.

Kids:
We provide a baby cot, stair gate and high chair, plastic plates and cups.

On the pool patios are 10 sun loungers a full size ping pong table and a boules pitch.

Gyms:
On the first floor is an air-conditioned gym with a running machine and cross trainer with a flat screen TV and Apple TV streaming.
On the ground floor is the 2nd hot gym with a treadmill, exercise bike and abs trainer

The rental price is all inclusive.
Staff Services and Local Tax, gardeners and pool men are included in the rental price. A full clean before you arrive is included. The housekeeper makes the beds with fresh linen included in the price for your arrival.
We provide 2 large towels per person and bath mats all included in the price.

The house keeper will help you on arrival. If you wish her to clean daily (or you are staying more than a week and want her to come in weekly) you can negotiate an additional price locally with her.

There is a laundry/washing machine room in the garage at the villa with Miele machines.

Nearby:
You need a car. It’s too far to walk to the village and back.
Positioned 15 minutes drive from the historic town of Sainte Maxime and 5 minutes drive from the seaside village of Les Issambres, the local coast has white sandy beaches and is ideal for a beach holiday. The award winning La Nartelle beach is 10 minutes from the villa and has 8 high quality beach restaurants and water sports. The beaches are is safe for children.

Motor boat hire:
you can rent a motor boat from Les Issambres port 15 minutes away. Go snorkelling, visit Pampelonne beach

Local Activities:
Aquapark: There is a great Aqua park 10 minutes drive from the villa with fun for the whole family for the day.
SCUBA: There is scuba-diving from Ste Maxime port.
Golf: Ste Maxime has a challenging woodland golf course overlooking the gulf with breathtaking views, you can pay and play in season.
Other Activities: go carting in Frejus is 15 minutes drive.
Sailing and tennis: there are clubs in Les Issambres.
Mountain walking: the Massive Des Maures sit behind the villa and are perfect for hiking and walking. We are 2 hours from the Gorge du Verdun.

Day trips: The best day trips are: to the village of St Tropez by Bateau Verte ferry; drive to the Gorge du Verdun and walk the gorge; drive to Cannes for the film festival and to Monte Carlo for the casino and the grand Prix; and drive to Auberge La Mole for great food.

Rentals: are 7 day minimum in High season and 5 day minimum out of season. Gulf Stream Villa is available all year round.

Lovely villa for large groups, amazing views and peaceful

This is a great villa for large groups of friends. The rooms are very private, the area is beautiful and very quiet. We found lots of help and direction within the house and Cherie was very helpful and kind. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of supplies for large groups within the villa itself. We would strongly recommend hiring a car for the visit in order to make the most of the area and for groceries. The items in the property, such as coffee machines, fridges etc. were great. It was a lovely stay and we felt very safe and well catered for. Thank you.

A splendid week enjoyed by all

From the welcome by Charie on arrival to the end of our stay we all very much enjoyed the villa and its amenities overlooking the coastline around the gulf of St Tropez. The pool was excellently maintained and all of the villa was clean on arrival. The verandah provided an excellent view of the night sky in the evenings. Plenty of options locally to eat or to shop and location ideal for a large family group. Car essential for getting about. Highly recommended. John and Julie East Sussex

Perfect!

Villa did everything it said on the tin. The pool was amazing, and the view was to die for, day and night. The house keeper, Khadra, was very friendly and helpful. We were a party of 11, ranging from 1 to 78 years old, all of whom had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Beautiful Property in a Stunning Location

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this lovely villa. We were a multigenerational group of 9 ranging in age from 4 to 65 and without exception everyone had a good time. There is plenty of space both inside and out so we never felt 'on top of each other' and when we weren't swimming, playing boule or table tennis it was a treat to just sit and look at the view.

Great views and comfortable accomodation

We were a family group of six adults and three children under 8. We stayed at a nearby villa in 2015 so knew the area fairly well, in particular where to shop for the best baguettes and pastries! Although the villa is high up in the hillside it is only about five minutes drive to the nearest shop and restaurants and about 10 minutes to the centre of town. The villa is very well equipped with comfortable sleeping accommodation and plenty of bathrooms and other facilities. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome but it would have been nice to have it in the lounge area also as that got very hot and stuffy at times. The pool area is great and has lovely views over the bay. Probably our favourite thing about the villa was the amount of sun it got in the evening when enjoying a glass of chilled rose! Caroline the villa manager in France was very friendly and helpful and did a great job when we had a minor power supply issue during our stay. Our daughter in law also left an earring in the villa which Caroline found during the changeover clean and she is in the process of returning it to us, Caroline is a star! It was a great holiday in a perfect location and hopefully we will return in the future. Peter Stayed August 2017

Unbeatable views, brilliant poolside chat and chill bar, great holiday

We were 12 adults and kids who had a superb time at Gulf Stream Villa. We took the Bateau Verte to St Tropez and shopped till we dropped. We visited the local markets and bought Provençal food and lavender products. The kids loved the pool and we ate each evening on the upper patio overlooking the Gulf of St Tropez watching the sun set. It was so calming. We also loved the beaches, Les Issambres beach is sandy and calm, Nartelle beach has so many great beach restaurants and our favourite was Le Club 44, which is better than cinquante cinq on Pampelonne. Stunning views and great accommodation

We were a family group of 10, including children aged from 1 yr to 5 yrs. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. The pool and outside areas were excellent and the lockable gate to the pool was reassuring given the ages of the children. We all loved spending time in the pool and lazing around the patio. So much so that it was actually quite an effort to leave the comfort of the villa! We didn't use the table-tennis table and petanque court much but it was very nice that they were there. Air-conditioning in bedrooms was effective and welcome (the weather was hot during our stay). Drive from coast to villa took a couple of days to remember but was well worth it for the views and privacy. Local area was great for beaches and restaurants, and the ferry to St Tropez was handy and fun. Caroline, the local manager, was both welcoming and helpful, and very prompt in responding to the minor issues which arose during our stay. Will definitely recommend this villa to our friends and family. Thanks for a great holiday.

Home away from home

We were a group of five women enjoying our annual girls holiday. We all agreed that this was our best villa yet. Mainly because the villa gave a home from home feel. It was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The dining room was lovely and near the kitchen. The living area had comfy leather sofa's which was great for chilling out with snacks in front of the TV. The outside was fabulous with an amazing view. There were several different areas to sit and escape. Nice sun shade on the patio,although after a certain time it did not shield you from the sun. The outside eating area was an extension of the dining area inside and was very convenient. There were two enormous en suite bedrooms which were lovely. One extremely small bedroom which could do with refurbishement. And two other twin bedrooms of a decent size. We thought a little refurbishement could be done in the villa,dodgy plugs etc. But this certainly did not spoil the holiday. Caroline who met us was very chatty and very helpful. The only down side of the villa is we found it difficult to find every time we went out!!!!!! If you have a sat nav then you really need to set it when you are at the villa to HOME. then you will be OK!!!! The area is fabulous. It is the gateway to loads of local areas such as ,Frejus,San Tropez,st Maxime and POrt Grimoud.. We would all recommend this villa highly and would use again.

Formidable

We, a group of 10 friends from the Netherlands, loved to stay at the Gulf stream villa! The late evenings on the balcony area were amazing. BBQ, pool, drinks and watch the sunset together. Enough space for everyone and the villa is full with luxury. If we are staying in the Cote D'Azure again in the future we would definitely go back.

Gorgeous property with equally as stunning view

We had man excellent time at the Gulf Stream villa. It is perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of the gulf of St Tropez, which is especially alluring come sunset. Additionally, it is located about 5 minutes walk away from a trail head that disperses into endless routes around the hills. The house itself is well stocked (fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding and a good selection of games and movies). Perfect!

Fantastic week on the Cote d'Azur

The view from the terrace at Gulfstream is impossible to beat. The villa is about ten minutes into the hills above the Med and in a very quiet area. It's fifteen minutes to restaurants and the small town of Les Issambres. The villa is well kitted out with a large kitchen/living area, upper and lower terraces and a lovely pool looking out over the sea. The caretaker bought extra baby kit for us and could not have been more helpful. A great week!

Just Fabulous

We absolutely LOVED Gulf Stream Villa. Met and exceeded all our expectations. The view was truly fabulous, the pool wonderful, the dining rooms indoors and outdoors were amazing, as well as the lounging patio. We were 4 couples and 3 children, plenty of room for all and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Well-maintained. The ferry from Les Issambres to Saint Tropez was great. All the food in the area was fabulous and we would highly recommend La Ponche in Saint Tropez as a fantastic restaurant. Thank you Gulf Stream Villa, you made our dream vacation on the Riviera come true!

Superb experience

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Gulf Stream Villa. We shared the Villa with other family members to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. The Villa is very well appointed and it is clear that the owners chose to decorate the Villa and provide facilities such that they would also enjoy as a home. The views from the terrace are beautiful and relaxing. Quite simply you do not need to leave the Villa. Ultimately, we were all very happy with our decision and came away from the vacation have enjoyed a special time in a special place. I would also add that the property owners were a pleasure to deal with through the whole process. I would certainly recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a great relaxing environment. The view...!

Gulf stream villa was the perfect choice for us, a group of friends with two cars, making it possible to enjoy the splendid views of the hills below and the sea, to relax in the pool, play table tennis and petanque as well as exploring the landscape around - the St Tropez peninsula, Corniche d 'Esterel, Gorges du Verdon etc. The villa is well equipped and well furnished. We mostly cook our meals at home and had a very peaceful time. The location, although with several hairpin bends and twists when getting there, was also good with all possible interesting places within one hour by car

What a view

We had a fantastic week in the villa. We really liked the pool and the view of the sea. The view is absolutely fantastic! A rental car is recommended as the area is hilly. We would love to come back.

Fantastic view and spacious villa

Great villa with a nice poolarea with your own poolbar for "chat and chill". Well equipped house with wine fridge, poolbar, boule court, large grill and grill table, ping-pong. We had a lovely week (ages 4 months to 63 y). Unlucky that we had some electric problem meaning that one A/C didnt work. Great and fast service trying to solve it. We highly recommend the place

villa très confortable et très agréable à vivre . avec des raffinements dans les moindres détails

Inutile de faire des excursions quand on réside dans cette villa . la piscine est chauffée , jeu de boules, salles de sport, ping pong .,vue magnifique sur la mer...et les gardiens sont toujours à votre disposition en cas de problème; Seule critique importante: tout est écrit en Anglais (modes d'emploi, guides , livres, ). On ne peut même pas regarder sur la télé, les chaines françaises.C'est dommage!

Belle Villa dans les hauteurs des Issambres

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La villa offre une vue panoramique et dispose de plusieurs activités (pétanque, ping-pong, piscine, salle de sport). Les points négatifs sont que cette villa nécessiterait quelques rénovations (plusieurs dalles proches de la piscine se décrochent notamment celles reliées à la rampe, certaines lattes de lit se décrochent, pommeau de douche abimé, tapis de course très bruyant).

Family Fynboe evaluation

We were very satisfied with the house. Very friendly and helpfull house keeper (Charie). We also think that the communication from Charie and the owner Andrew have been very good. Fast response is important and they succeeded with that. We only have a few remarks: 1) Pool bar glasses were very dirty. Would have been very nice if these were cleaned by arrival. 2) Aircondition in room "valnut" is old and should be considered upgraded. 3) We suggest that pots, pans and kitchen equipment in general will be updated. 4) We were 10 people in the house. Schöne Villa in ruhiger Umgebung

Schöne Villa mit tollem Ausblick. Ruhige sonnige Lage, ca. 3 KM bis ins Ort (laufen nicht möglich). Für Kinder unter 3 Jahren ist der Pool nur bedingt geeignet. Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr gut / TV und Musik TOP. Möbel sind in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles funktional und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Charie als Ansprechpartnerin hat asap geantwortet... Danke Charie!!

You are within striking distance of the glamour of St Tropez if that is what you want, but our hillside is peaceful and the local village (Les Issambres) is a delight. The sea is calm and the sandy beaches are perfect for children, the local food nearby is first class.

"The view from the terrace at Gulfstream is impossible to beat. The villa is about ten minutes into the hills above the Med and in a very quiet area. It's fifteen minutes to restaurants and the small town of Les Issambres. The villa is well kitted out with a large kitchen/living area, upper and lower terraces and a lovely pool looking out over the sea. The caretaker bought extra baby kit for us and could not have been more helpful. A great week"
