We had a great time! We had a lot of fun exploring in Granbury and going to Dinosaur Valley State Park. The hot tub was so appreciated for tired muscles!
The place was clean and nice! Had everything we needed and more. Secluded but not too far from restaurants/stores. Plan on coming back in the fall!

The cabin had several nice amenities- hot tub, washer and dryer, a well-stocked kitchen, snacks, and board games. However, there were a few issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival, we noticed the bathroom had not been cleaned. I notified the owner and received an apology later that night, taking responsibility for the oversight. We also encountered a wasp issue inside the cabin. We killed 4–5 live wasps inside when we first arrived. I asked the owner if a window or door could have been left open previously but didn't receive an answer. We found several dead ones inside as well throughout the stay. Luckily we did not get stung, but it did make us a little on edge. I understand we are in a wooded area and there are bound to be critters.Additionally, we were unable to locate the remote for the air unit despite checking thoroughly and only found older remotes available that did not match the current units. Because of this, we ended up opening a few windows to cool the space before bed and were comfortable with the fans going.Overall, the cabin has potential and good amenities. We may have caught them on an off weekend. There were lots of positive reviews in their guest book and Vrbo account. And Granbury was AWESOME.
My husband and I booked this property for a weekend & enjoyed the peace & quiet. It's off the beaten bath, but still close enough to town. We enjoyed breakfast at the local firehouse Cafe & loved the sight seeing.
Would definitely book again!
We had a relaxing 2 days at this property. Everything was as described! The shower was amazing, the bed was most comfortable and everything you might need was provided! Will definitely plan on going back.

Wonderful guests! We would love to have them stay with us again.
Loved this very well equipped rental! Every attention to detail and then some! Easy 10 minute drive to Granbury for dining, shopping and lake fun. Quiet and relaxing, enjoyed the hot tub and visits from Morris the resident cat. Reasonably priced and Tracy was quick to respond to questions. We will be back!
Our recent stay at Sunflower Cabin was charming and exactly what we were looking for. We were in town to celebrate our grandson's birthday and found a quiet resting spot just close enough to the nearby cities to be convenient. The owners were available and responsive and provided several added touches that were greatly appreciated. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tub, fancy shower and, yes, that tub. Comfy furnishings and bedding along with plentiful television options were all spot-on. I was sad to leave as our stay was as much a 'state-of-mind' as it was a getaway adventure. I would choose this location again without a second thought. Thankful for a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed our time away at this property. It was far enough from the city to relax with nature and close enough to the town to make getting food convenient. The home was updated but the a/c in the bathroom dripped (condensation) quite a bit. We killed a few bugs here and there, but that wasn't a surprise considering we were out in the woods. The shower, oversized tub, and towel warmer were a dream! The bed was also comfortable. Our stay was incredibly quiet until guests showed up at the property next to us and shot fireworks in the midst of a burn ban. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

When arriving at our cabin (Sunflower) we were disappointed to see that it had not been maintainted at all, weeds were overgrown everywhere and the wheel chair ramp even had weeds growing throught the wood and appeared very weather damaged/unsafe. Inside the cabin was very cute and decorated nicely but smelled terrible like old food. The bathroom toilet was very dirty still, the stove was covered in a layer or grease, pictures in layers of dust, and after a simple rinse the shower showed it was not cleaned well either. I understand this is a cabin but also is not too far out to excuse lack of maintenence. The cabin has the amenities mentioned but none are well maintained. Shower doors taped closed to not be used, wifi half works, hot tub was nice and seemed clean, fire pit area was hard to get to as grounds are completely unmanaged, fire pit had to chairs, one with ripped out bottom other broken but only enough that you can't tell until you've already sat down and gotten a huge pinch. Bed and couch are worn down to the point of sink hole status and there was wasp everywhere. This was supposed to be our honeymoon and it was a total bust and waste of money. Not relaxing or enjoyful. Giving 2 starts bc it has huge potential and I bet it use to be a beautiful place but needs attention. After messaging owners they did offer to have someone come down to clean but I did myself to ensure cleanliness for our stay.
My husband booked the sunflower cabin for our honeymoon. We loved it so much, we went back for our anniversary this year. It was just as great as we remembered it. The hot tub on the back porch is very nice and relaxing. The complimentary bottle of wine they leave in the refrigerator goes great with it, too. Lol. Huge shower, comfy bed, and it’s pet friendly so we got to bring our two border collies. It’s the perfect secluded getaway to unwind, unplug, and connect with each other.
This was the perfect little getaway from the bump and grind of the city life. The cabin was very welcoming and had everything needed. We will definitely book this cabin again.
We absolutely loved our stay. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. We will be back again and will recommend to all our friends.
Thank you for a great experience!
My husband and I came to Granbury for a wedding. Although we only stayed one night, the Sunshine Cabin was worth it! Clean, quiet, and quaint, really enjoyed the stay!
What a special and quiet few days we spent here. It was beautiful and peaceful. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Clean and impeccable instructions for everything. Loved this stay! Thank you!
The Sunflower was just what I needed to unwind relax and recharge. So peaceful listening to birds chirp and the cars go by. Excellent location for all that happens in Granbury. Definitely will stay again in the opportunity arises.
We really enjoyed staying here, the soaking tub, & hot tub made it ideal for relaxing. They went the extra mile for our 13 year anniversary and it was much appreciated, so glad this is where we came to celebrate! It is close to good food but can also bring something and stay in all day! 😀
