Chelan County STRP #1028 - This beautiful home has been furnished with lodge style furnishing. The Icicle Creek Chalet, which has been listed on VRBO since 2017, is located just outside of Leavenworth only one block from the Leavenworth Golf Club, 300 feet from the river tubing put in, and a short 20 min walk to downtown Leavenworth. The owners, Rob and Jackie, have made every effort to ensure that their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The property has granite counter tops, 2 bedrooms on the main floor with King beds, and a big open air loft bedroom upstairs with a Queen bed. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with a slow cooker, rice maker, waffle iron 4 piece toaster and electric griddle, everything that a great home cook could ask for. There is a gas BBQ, hot tub and fire pit on the back patio area. The heated 2 car attached garage is equipped with Ping Pong and Foosball Tables. Located on its own quiet lane, and right next to the Wenatchee River for easy tubing and rafting, this home is perfect for your week or weekend getaway. Please feel free take a minute to read through the reviews and you will see how the pride of ownership has made so many past guest feel welcome at the Icicle Creek Chalet. Additionally, although we show a 2 night minimum stay, we are willing to make exceptions for quick getaways to Leavenworth on non-holiday Monday through Thursday nights. Great location, check in and out was easy, loved the hot tub and that the house was decorated for Christmas. My son (11) loved seeing the deer so up close. One of them took a liking to him and he even fed her an apple. He said he will remember that forever. A forever memory made in your home. He even took a video of the encounter and it’s adorable! The house is beautiful! It is a very comfortable place and has a really nice hot tub. It is in a quiet location near the river and only a mile from town. We were there for 5 nights and would definitely book it again.

The owners, Rob and Jackie have lived in Washington State all their lives. While raising their two daughters, they would rent a house in Leavenworth over the New Years holiday to celebrate. They have great memories of spending time in Downtown Leavenworth enjoying all the town had to offer. Now, they are able to share their home with others, with the hope of their families making great memories in the town that Rob and Jackie love so much.

Why they chose this property

Rob and Jackie looked for over a year for the property that spoke out to them. They wanted a home that made them feel welcome when they pulled into the driveway and entered the door. In 2017, Rob and Jackie agreed that the Icicle Creek Chalet was that home. From the chalet style architecture to imposing dining area, they knew when they first walked in that it was their home away from home, and they have made every effort to make it yours as well. The ability to use the heated garage as a play space was important. Having a place for children or adults to go out and enjoy a game of ping pong or foosball makes the stay just that much more fun, and creates good memories or all, and that what this is really all about, making great memories with friends, family and loved ones. Additionally, having a hot tub was high on their list. When Rob and Jackie spent those New Year holidays in Leavenworth with their daughters as they were growing up, a home with a hot tub was a must. And so it is, the Icicle Creek Chalet has a hot tub. Other amenities such as the gas grill and fire pit simply add to the options of what can be done while visiting. Rob and Jackie hand picked all the furniture in the house in an effort to make it welcoming and comfortable for not only their guests but for themselves as well.
