Welcome to our Gold Canyon villa. It contains 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is a generous 2550 square feet. This house has a brand new pebble tec heated pool with a Baja shelf and umbrella. In behind the fenced backyard is a desert wash for fabulous privacy and is teaming with wildlife. Partake in the stunning views of Dinosaur Mountain and the imposing Superstition Mountains. Lots of hiking and walking trails nearby to suit all ability levels including the popular Hieroglyphic Trail that is just a few minutes walk away. Relax on the upper deck and observe the abundance of birds in the area.

Perfect winter getaway

Our family had a great stay! The heated pool and little backyard oasis was perfect. Location was spectacular! Short drive from Mesa, many good options and grocery story close by. We had a family gathering in Gold Canyon for our Dad's 85th birthday. John & Tamara's house was perfect for us! The patio and pool area were perfect in the morning and evening as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away - even in the summer months! :)

To provide clarification to potential guests reading this review, the upstairs has a master bedroom with an attached master bathroom, the other three bedrooms have a bathroom close by and there is a third bathroom downstairs. So a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms in the house.

We were very happy with this rental!

This house is exactly as described. It was clean and in great condition. I appreciated the fact that the kitchen was well stocked with enough dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. The owner checked in with us to make sure we got in to the house, and later how we were doing, and he was very responsive to the questions I had.

Beautiful home inside and out

Our family loved our weeklong stay for spring break! The interior was clean, well stocked, and everything was just as advertised in the photos. The view from the master bedroom and balcony was amazing Our kids (7 and 4) loved playing the games upstairs and playing in the pool. We spent each morning of our trip exploring the hiking trails and other activities in the area, then relaxed by the pool in the afternoons. We also enjoyed using the grill to cook dinner on several occasions. John was an excellent host and responded right away to the couple questions we had. Our family would love to return next time we are in the area.

I love the Valley of the Sun and the State of Arizona and have been coming here for years. My favourite place is the Superstition Mountains of which Gold Canyon is located at the base. So many things to do and places to explore whether its hiking, birding, golfing, shopping or just lying by the pool in the bright Arizona sunshine.
