Wonderful experience at this home far up on the mountain. Good location outside of Waynesville. House was perfectly clean, virtually anything needed or wanted was provided. Good view of the mountains off of a huge deck. Hot tub was handy, clean and already on and heated at arrival. As the ad explained, this house sits at the end of the road high up. The road up to the house is very steep and winding, but paved almost the entire way (the gravel is just a short way and is in great shape) so no problems. The house next door is just steps away from the driveway, but not visible from the deck due to tree cover (so a fall or winter visit it may be). We enjoyed it so much may try and come back to the same location this summer. Thank you.
This cabin felt like stepping into a postcard. Absolutely beautiful, with views that didn’t just impress…they lingered. Every detail was thoughtfully done, from clearly labeled everything (yes, even the light switches!) to having all the essentials ready so we could simply show up with food and settle in.Then nature decided to show off. It snowed the day after we arrived, turning an already magical stay into something unforgettable, especially since it was my husband’s very first time seeing snow. Watching that moment alone was worth the trip.We did have to leave a couple days early, but that was completely unrelated to the cabin itself. If anything, it just gave us another reason to come back. And we absolutely will.
I have no words! This house was truly a home (away from home). The view was amazing, the kitchen had everything a foodie could want in terms of equipment and our stay was amazing. We’ve already booked for next year
This was the perfect vacation spot for us. The view was absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed it most for sunrises with a hot cup of coffee. The kitchen was well appointed and all the linens were top notch and plentiful. We spent our evenings in the super clean hot tub under the clear skies and cool evenings. The location was perfect for day trips to see the many waterfalls nearby. We were however glad we didn’t come on our motorcycles as the trip up the mountain is a little challenging. We highly recommend this property.
The house was beautiful! The view was amazing! The kitchen was stocked full of anything that you might need. Best kitchen in all the places I have rented! Heather the host was great! I had problems with my rental car and she offered to pick me up and take me somewhere if I needed. Thanks again Heather! I highly recommend this property!
We enjoyed our stay. The view was stunning, the beds were cozy, the hot tub was clean, and the home was stocked with anything we could need. Washer and dryer upstairs was super handy. Thank you for a beautiful week.
The cabin was incredibly well stocked and clean. The view was magnificent! It is one of the best properties (out of many) that we have stayed at. I highly recommend it!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was well thought out and planned very well. I would recommend 4 wheel drive to make the drive easier.

Thanks for the nice review. It was great having you as guests.
My wife and I spent a long weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. The view is amazing, and being the last house at the end of the road allows for peace and quiet at the top of the mountain.
Furnishings are well maintained and the basics are all here… along with a few extras.
Really enjoyed our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the location at the end of the road/Ridge. The view was spectacular and ever changing. The home was clean and well stocked. We hope to return soon.
This is honestly one of our very favorite homes we have stayed at yet! The views are amazing from all angles! The sunrises were stunning! The house is beautiful, with an amazing warm feel! The host is awesome and accommodating to work with! You will want for nothing in this home! The host has thought of everything!
We had a wonderful stay at the property. Heather was easy to communicate with and was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything including spices, plastic wrap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, etc. Beds were comfy. The deck and view are spectacular. The road to get to the house is not easy to navigate in the dark, but fine in the light. Furnishings were nice and couches were comfortable. We would stay again.
My friends and I stayed here for a long holiday weekend, and really enjoyed it. We ended up with quite a bit of snow, which was beautiful. We had a pretty low key time, and only left the property once while there. The house was very comfortable for our group of 6, and we made good use of the hot tub in the 20° weather.
The house on top of the hill was exactly as advertised. Beautiful setting with unbelievable views and spectacular sunrises. Everything you need from a jacuzzi to a beautiful gas grill to porches surrounding the house and a fire-pit on the back lawn. Worth the stay, and Heather is awesome!!

Beautiful property on top of mountain. Huge deck with hot tub is amazing. Place is updated and beautiful. Even when we had a problem, property manager was immediately on it
The view is fantastic. You can see Mt Pisgah from the deck. The house has everything you need including scratch free pans, sharp knifes and lots of toys for young one as well as older kids. I would recommend to arrive during daylight on your first ride up as the curves are sometimes steep.
We enjoyed the amazing and ever changing views of the mountains from the deck as well as from inside the home. The home is spacious yet cozy. Kitchen is well equipped. The motion sensor lights made it easy to get around after dark. The fireflies put on a magical performance each night!
We really enjoyed our stay. I love the fact that it was kid friendly. They had toys, books, ect. for my grandson and family he games to play. The house was beautiful and the view from the deck was so breathtaking!! When we got in the house the first thing we all said was look at that view!! We also enjoyed the wonderful complimentary basket of marshmallows, a couple of Hersey bars and graham crackers for our family to go and relax and enjoy smores around the fire pit. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to family and friends.
This was our second time staying at Angels Ridge for my family’s winter vacation and we look forward to coming back again next year. The property is private, clean and very well maintained. The rear balcony overlooks downtown Maggie Valley some 1500 feet below. The view is spectacular, especially at night when the lights from the city glisten from below and stars seem close enough to touch. The patio is huge with a nice gas grill and a huge hot tub. We really enjoyed our evenings sitting in the hot tub and taking in the beautiful view after having a great home cooked dinner prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The family room with a beautiful fireplace was our favorite gathering place. There is lots of comfortable seating and our four year old granddaughter really enjoyed playing with all the toys and games provided by the owners. The bedrooms were all appointed well and they were each very clean and comfortable. The property is only 10-minutes away from downtown Maggie Valley which has great restaurants and lots of family friendly activities. My granddaughter had a blast at the tubing hill and she enjoyed playing outside when it was snowing during our stay. My wife and I have been visiting the Maggie Valley area for over 30-years as a getaway from Florida. We have stayed at numerous rental properties in Bryson City, Sylva and Maggie Valley and Angels Ridge by far has the best view and it’s set up perfectly for family vacations. We are home now and we are already looking forward to going back again next year. We want to thank the owners for sharing their wonderful property!
We enjoyed this house. Used it as a base location as we were exploring the area. Great location for that. And the house itself was very comfortable. We absolutely loved the morning sunrises that greeted us every day. I definitely recommend arriving during the daytime. We arrived at 9:30 in the evening and it was a little difficult to find the property. The property manager immediately responded to our call and helped us find the house. The gas fireplace was really nice. Really enjoyed the ease of use and set a great ambience.
We came to Waynesville to visit with friends and found this property that would accept our 2 big dogs and it did not disappoint! House was well stocked with everything you could need. I usually brig a bin of necessities (paper towels, TP, soaps, dish soap, laundry etc) and I didn’t need a single thing from it. And the morning sunrise! Let me say - I was up every morning with coffee in hand waiting for it to rise. Amazing views! Now the road up is quite steep and the first time was a little concerning, but we quickly became used to it. The half mile is not paved, but easy to negotiate even in a minivan! Good location to get away, yet close enough to adventure out! Will certainly check for availability here next time we come up.
