This was a very nice place, just as described. Plenty of privacy in a quiet location but still near to town. The only issue was a sight hiccup at check-in on the day of, making us have to wait until 8pm instead of 4pm. Other than that it was real good

Sooke suite

Extremely clean, comfortable, suitable for long term stays. Only reason this didn't get 5/5 for every category was that there was no view of the ocean, one of the plusses staying in Sooke. Had a very nice, quiet stay.

Great location, clean, everything you need for a getaway.

This place was a great location, 5 min from downtown restaurants, pubs and brewery’s. So much room and the place was so clean and safe! It had everything you needed for a few nights stay. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes and was able to cook for ourselves. Safe location and check in was easy and we enjoyed having wine on the patio each night and coffee each morning! Would stay here again!

Quiet Oasis

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was spacious and immaculate. The outdoor patio was a beautiful spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning. It was a quiet and convenient area, close to amenities. Communication with the owner was always professional and prompt. Definitely would stay again.

This was perfect accommodation for our two week stay in Sooke. Check in/out process was clearly communicated in advance and super easy. Host Evelyn was available for any questions or special requests. The suite was super clean and quiet and well stocked with everything required for the stay and then some. We would definitely consider booking this site again, it truly was a tranquil and beautiful neighbourhood. You will absolutely need to rent a car if you intend on staying here and be prepared to deal with some daily traffic issues in this area but if you frequent this part of Vancouver Island you are probably already aware of this fact.

Hideaway

It's a good place to stay for two people. We like to walk and there was plenty of opportunity. Basically though it's in a car necessity area for shopping, dining out etc. it is spacious but for the most part we used the kitchen as a dining area and the bedroom which has a nice ensuite. Entry to the suite is through the owner's garage so one can feel a bit confined - it's all good if you spend a lot of time out and about like we do.

Wonderful hostess

Contrary to what we underszand from the online presentation, there was just one bed plus one sofabed. We had expeczed 2 beds. But that's the only negative remark I would make, everything else was very nice. The hostess went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She can recommend lots of hikes in the area.

Stay awhile in Sooke

My husband and I spent a couple weeks at Evelyn’s lovely suite in Sooke while visiting friends and family in the area. The suite is impeccably presented, clean and in a nice quiet neighbourhood location. Full kitchen, laundry, bathroom and comfortable bedding as shown in the photos. Nice little outdoor sitting area. Quick drive to the town centre in Sooke and easy access the Galloping Goose trail, and other great spots in southern Vancouver island (Shirley, Port Renfrew, Matheson Lake, etc.). Definitely recommended.

Very private & relaxing home away from home !

Spacious, comfortable and well appointed suite ! About 25mins from downtown Victoria....definitely need a car as location is uphill about 1km+ away from shopping.....cozy outdoor seating area for coffee and/or evening cocktail.......Very private and a quiet residential location.......much better than any hotel in this area - a great spot away from the hustle of the city......would highly recommend !!
