This was the best VRBO that I have stayed. The home was clean, and so inviting. I had no issues during my stay. The community is very quiet and safe. I will stay again.

Thank you so much for the awesome review. Please come again!
My wife and I, plus my parents, brother, and sister, stayed for two nights over a weekend to attend a family gathering located 10 minutes away. The bedrooms were very nice, and two of them had their own bathrooms and showers. My brother and sister shared a full bathroom in the hall near their rooms. The beds were very comfortable, good water pressure in the showers, plenty of towels, and all the furniture/decorations were charming. The house is in a great location in Huntersville, as we enjoyed the short walks (especially for my parents, who are in their 80s) to great places to eat and hang out with live music. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions during our visit via Vrbo messaging. Overall, a wonderful stay!
We had a nice stay at this uniquely renovated cottage. We loved seeing how the owners had decorated this cozy spot. We loved sitting on the porch, using the TV for our toddler to watch cartoons, and appreciated the decor and space for kids. We were disappointed that the dishwasher was under repair during our stay and unusable, which was difficult for the number of adults in our party. The kitchen was also lacking some items (e.g., only three coffee cups), but we made it work. The bathrooms had everything we needed. This property is close to restaurants and the farmer's market. We enjoyed strolling around nearby. One note -- the back bedroom with the double bed has quite a hard mattress! Just an FYI for a sleeper who prefers some cushioning. :)

Enjoyable Stay
We arrived about two hours early and the property manager was not extremely friendly about an early check in. We are ally did not know that we would be arriving early and a 5pm check in is very late to begin with. The house was overall clean but the kitchen needed some work. There was a plate that has food on it in the cabinet. We refrained from using any dishes. We also found a cockroach in the main bedroom. That was not exactly ideal.
Otherwise the house was clean. The beds were not very comfortable. However, there was plenty of space and beds. We enjoyed our stay.
I was supposed to receive the key codes via email the night before I arrived. That email never came. I tried to contact the host the day of arrival. I called and texted numerous times. I had 7 teenage boys waiting with me in the driveway of the house and called VRBO. Two separate agents attempted to get in touch with the host and she never answered their calls either. After sitting at the property for over an hour in a storm with 7 boys, VRBO sent us to a nearby hotel. The host contacted me late that night and stated that she was sorry, but she was out of the country. She asked if we wanted to go back to the property, but it was close to midnight and I told her that we were already settled and had to be up early in the morning for a baseball tournament. She only refunded $300 of the $850 that was paid because she stated that she offered for me to go back (after we were settled in around 11 pm).
The home was extremely charming. Our only disappointment was that it wasn’t clean and one of the bedrooms had a heavy odor, so it was unusable. In the property owners defense, she did offer to send the cleaning crew, our stay was so short we didn’t have time.
Cute house in downtown Huntersville, close to Lake Norman. House is historic and well kept. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway.
This is a unique beautiful home with three complete bathrooms and four bedrooms (plus a sunroom with a daybed)! Wow! A huge kitchen table, big kitchen to cook in, and a very comfortable sitting room. We appreciated the lower weekly rate a lot! Questions always answered quickly, and helpfully. We would stay here again!
House was great, a bit dated but great size and fit 3 families well. Kitchen is a lot larger than it seemed in the pictures, lots of room. Location was perfect with food/drinks/playground/children’s museum just 1-2 blocks away. Would definitely stay again!
This house was beautifully renovated with delicate details. I love the Grey white-wash paint in the kitchen and master bedroom/bath. Built-in cabinets and breakfast nook, large dining table, pretty design on the linoleum floor. Comfy couch and chairs, even the antiques. Coffee pot, Keurig, and French press were used. Asst of teas available. Plenty of extra blankets in the front bedroom attached to the adorable sunporch. Good selection of board games. Hidden washer/dryer, if needed. I enjoyed watching the squirrel in and out of the tree outside my bathroom window. Lovely, intimate front porch.

Thank you so much for the wonderfully kind comments!❤️
Very cozy atmosphere. Could not get the dishwasher to start. Had Family Reunion in Charlotte so we was mostly out than in. Need antenna TV, everybody don’t have Netflix accounts. But overall beautiful place to stay.
Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults, nice to have 3 full bathrooms, big kitchen, pretty front porch and lovely gardens. Very charming and unique home. Location was great for us with easy ride to Charlotte, airport and our family that we came to visit. There is a nice coffee shop, breakfast & pizza and 2 craft breweries within walking distance. Lovely quiet area. Good communication with property manager.

Okay place
This home was in a nice location. It was well stocked with toiletries. We did find some dirty dishes and a cockroach or 2. Also, one shower would not turn on and most of the tv remotes did not work. To be fair, we didn’t report this during the stay as we did not want strangers in the house due to Covid.
Lastly, there is a really creepy shadow box with angry looking doll heads/skulls just inside the door. That doesn’t give the place the homiest of feelings.
The manager was very helpful. The house was perfect for our group. We had plenty of room to prepare for our son’s wedding. Having 3 full bathrooms was the best! The kitchen was well stocked! I highly recommend this property!
We were in town for my sister’s wedding and this was perfect for what we needed. It was a good home base. It was quaint and unique. The kids loved the little kids bedroom! Great location!
We had a great time at the property! It was perfect for our group of 8, and having 3 full bathrooms was nice. We had some trouble in the beginning with the air not working properly, but the owner came out and got it resolved immediately and graciously. We would definitely come stay again!
