The cottage was very clean and provided a perfect location for our Acadia NP visit. Sallie gave us great recommendations for dining and places of interest. We will definitely look to return for future visits to the area.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. Acadia is a magical place in October, and we hope you’ll return again. Thanks for being such considerate guests.
Sallie was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the cleanest properties we’ve rented this way. Great central location. We spent a couple of days exploring Acadia which is about an hour away. Will definitely check availability on this property when we visit Maine next.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Herrick Bay Bird Wing cottage and hope you will return.
This iis a warm, handsomely decorated cottage looking out on one of the loveliest bays in this area of beautiful scenery. To sit on the spacious deck watching the eagles return to their nest close by, ospreys diving, the changing light is to experience the best of Maine. We were able to kayak off the property. Sallie and Evan are gracious welcoming hosts, responsive and ready to be of assistance. A perfect stay.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Herrick Bay Bird Cottage and watching the ever-changing scene from the deck. We hope you will return!
Bird Cottage sits at the top of Herrick Bay with a grand view of the bay and out to the water beyond. Convenient to Brooklin center and easy access to stores and shops in Blue Hill. Very comfortably furnished, two large rooms with comfortable furniture. Good lighting for reading. Quiet. Hard to beat.

Thank you for staying with us. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the view and the accommodations. We hope to see you again.
The property is a separate entrance apartment to the main home. Down a short dirt road and right on Herrick Bay with tides ebbing almost to the horizon and flowing up to the property edge. Spacious rooms with large windows looking out on the water. Small but efficient kitchen in the great room. An hour's drive from Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Lovely gardens. Very close to the Wooden Boat School.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope that you’ll return some day.
We booked what we thought was a nice place with a nice view but what we got was a luxury place with a breathtaking view!!! We arrived at night and when we woke up we were stunned by the spectacular setting. The rental is comfortable, clean and new and looks like a designer has created it. Just lovely. One thing I would be clear on however is whether the owner will be physically present during the stay. They weren't with us but from things they've said they might have been. When I've rented other places for a week the owner is never there and that's how I would require it. Having said that Sallie was very available through the VRBO app with any questions I had and she seems a delightful person. A very gracious host.
