The Green Door Haus is a beautifully updated cottage that was completed in January 2020. No part was left untouched with its maple hardwood flooring, slate tiled bathroom, Amish crafted kitchen, and modern trim details. You will enjoy relaxing in a clean, quiet, draft-free environment that is outfitted with modern Scandinavian touches everywhere you gaze. It is situated perfectly for enjoying everything Decorah has to offer. All the best activities are within walking distance; Trout Run Trail, Dunning's Spring, Van Peenan Park, Upper Iowa River, Pulpit Rock Brewery, Vesterheim, Nordic ski trails, bicycle rentals. For those coming to Decorah to ride bicycles, we offer secure indoor storage along with cleaning supplies and water hose access.
